Deamus isn't too bad, I don't really understand its existence, but I have seen fanfictions and they're pretty good.

@Buhers of course that's not what I meant. Friends of any gender, sexuality, etc can be exactly that.

But I remember reading and watching at the time, as a young gay boy, thinking "I wonder if they're boyfriends? That would be so cool". Because to me, that's how it read/came across. And it felt validating at the time.
