Probably fake
I'm pretty sure she said it never makes mistakes...
"The Sorting Hat is notorious for refusing to admit it has made a mistake in its sorting of a student. On those occasions when Slytherins behave altruistically or selflessly, when Ravenclaws flunk all their exams, when Hufflepuffs prove lazy yet academically gifted and when Gryffindors exhibit cowardice, the Hat steadfastly backs its original decision."
Happy Birthday! (I don't know if this is genuine; I could actually see Snape perhaps having some Gryffindor traits, but I wouldn't take this attribution to Rowling at face value)
Happy Birthday!!
I honestly could kinda see Snape being in Gryffindor. He had the courage to make an unbreakable vow AND kill someone he was really close to. He also showed no fear when facing Voldemort at all even when he was about to die. But I do think Slytherin is good. If anything I’d say he is like me and a Slytherdor.
He’s a Slytherin with some Gryffindor traits.
Snape was damn right into Slytherin.
And Peter Pettigrew were dam right 4 slytherin.
^ Slytherins are known for comradery. We look out for our own. Don't lump that simpering little rat in with us.
@CaptainKaibyo THank You. Peter should've been homeschooled or something. Slytherins aren't evil. Just because a hat sends you to a house with a snake mascot does not mean that we are evil. Badgers eat snakes and are even more terrifying. Eagles can pluck your eyes out. Lions can decimate someone. And yet we get the bad rep?
What do you think?
