Common room- Located at the top of the moving staircase, in plain sight. However, the door is upside down and you can't reach it from the ground. To get there, you must attempt to walk on the walls. Once you do, your gravity will shift and you can easily walk to the upside-down common room. It is "decorated" like a pigsty, because students unanimously decided not to clean it and house elves aren't allowed there.

Possible members- Luna Lovegood, Hagrid, Sybil Trelawney, anyone who didn't quite fit the normal cookie-cutter mold

I think it would make more sense to cut it down to three houses. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff are already mostly irrelevant, and this would just add another useless house. I would have a three house system like on Yu-Gi-Oh! GX. There they have Obelisk Blue, for the elite in connections and entrance exams (Slytherin/Ravenclaw), Ra Yellow, for those with great potential (Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw), and Sllifer Red, for the deadbeats and washouts (Gryffindor). Depending on how you do you can advance to a higher dorm or be dropped to a lower dorm, which incentivizes study, as the higher dorms have better living conditions. Even here, Ra Yellow is less important than the other two, though it is definitely more prominent than Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw. If Hogwarts used this system, I would guess that all Muggle-borns would have to start in the bottom house, which is how Hermione would meet Harry and Ron.
