It'd be cool to see his grandparents take some part of his life but I'd think that ruin the story but atleast JKR could of talked about the grandparents and show how they helped James and his wife. That'd cool.

That would ruin the story. It is important that Harry was never in a loving household in between his parents’ deaths and attending Hogwarts, and it is important that he never knew he was a wizard. It is a major part of the plot of Sorcerer’s Stone, and it is an important parallel that he has with Voldemort. Including his grandparents would ruin that.

It isn't a very good idea to just leave him on a doorstep for a whole night since it's rather dangerous. But also I think it would've been better if they were involved in the first few years of his life when he is still a baby and then they could both be dead by the time Harry is 6. And I got a bad feeling about Vernon and Petunia raising a baby Harry.

Dumbledore could tell the grandparents not to tell Harry anything about his identity and wait for him to find out when comes the time for him to attend Hogwarts.

Why would Dumbledore want that to be a secret? And what would be the point of having Harry’s grandparents alive at first? That’s just a bit too much backstory that doesn’t really add anything, except giving Harry the baggage of having lost yet another set of parent figures.

James Potter’s parents died of Dragon Pox before Harry was born. Lily’s parents are never mentioned but I do wonder about them — Lily was muggle-born, so if Harry had gone to them he would still have been raised away from the wizarding world, still been living with/sheltered by a blood relative of Lily (which was important because of her blood/love magical protection of him) and Dumbledore could easily have just told them not to mention magic to Harry until it was time for him to go to Hogwarts. My best guess is they they’re also dead, but I don’t think JKR has ever said anything about it so 🤷🏼‍♀️

This is exactly what I say all the time if there ever was an alternate scenario where Lily's parents had still been alive to try and raise Harry.

So, while he’s still a baby and a toddler, as well as until about the age of 5 or 6, he can’t get maybe hits from the Dursleys.

Well, they could become friends with all of Harry’s new friends and even spend some holidays with them.

You can’t prove a negative. The burden of proof is on you to prove that they did hit him.

Giving Harry a loving family would completely change the story. There would be no reason for him to find father figures in Dumbledore or Sirius if he still had a grandfather who cared for him. There was a clear narrative reason for making Harry an orphan who had no real family before Hogwarts. Introducing his grandparents would have screwed that up.
