Definitely not in the books. They were okay in the films, though that was probably due to the acting and directing. I think there's a better case for Ginny/Luna, while Harry has exactly zero good pairings.

Hinny is one of my many OTPs. Don't get how people hate them. If Harry was out of the question, Ginny wouldn't fit with anyone else.

No, if I asked you in the middle of OOTP, would you have expected Harry and Ginny to end up together? Don't get me wrong, it's a good ship, but it was so unexpected since they only talked that much in HBL. Bfr, when did they have such a long conversation? J.K Rowling just raced things or didn't think about how they could develop a decent connection.
