Ginny had five older siblings who had kids. All of the good Weasley names would have been taken.

In my opinion, it feels kinda weird to name your kids after your parents bc they were married and had a whole entire child-

If anyone questions why Harry never named his children after Hagrid or McGonagall, it's because Ron and Hermione already named their children after them :)

I personally like their children’s names - yep, even Albus Severus. My reasoning for Albus’ being: if you just look at his initials, they spell ASP, which is a type of snake. You may now be thinking ‘What does that have to do with anything?’ Well, dear reader, I believe it is an easter egg since well, as I said, an asp is a snake and guess what? Albus is the only of Harry’s children to be a parselmouth. I also love Severus, so again, biased, but I adore this easter egg
