I hate to say this but I think Ron had the right to be angry at Hermione in The Prisoner of Azkaban

Ron didn't know Scabbers was an animagus. He only thought Crookshanks was trying to eat Scabbers. Ron literally had proof that Crookshanks possibly ate Scabbers and Hermione kept defending Crookshanks. Also Hermione wasn't completely empathetic to Ron. How would you feel if your friend's pet tried to kill your pet and your friend justified it by saying "that's what rats do" instead of being more empathetic? I'd feel pretty angry too. Also Ron had no reason to think Crookshanks didn't eat Scabbers. I'd also be pretty pissed if my friend's pet killed my pet and my friend defended their pet. Also Hermione wasn't completely responsable either. Ron's feelings were totally valid. I would've taken Ron's side too if I was in Harry's shoes or if I was a character and friends with them

I said "hermione lovers", not you specifically. There are probably some nice ones out there, and you are possibly one, I just don't know you well enough to confirm or deny that.

All evidence pointed to Crookshanks having eaten Scabbers, and Hermione knew she was sharing a common room with someone who had a pet rat when she bought Crookshanks. Ron was definitely right to be upset with her and I don't understand how anyone can defend her on it.

I mean, after all was revealed, I'm sure many of us wish Crookshanks had eaten Scabbers, I certainly do, but nobody knew at the time.

hermione tried to defend her "perfect pet" that Scabbers was just hiding under one of the beds, which I think is a pathetic defense. I mean like, don't you think Ron would've checked there already?
