If you have time, do you mind telling me why you think the chamber of secret is dreadful? I don't really understand the hate
Okay this wasn’t directed to me but I agree with it (doing it for the movie version because.. you already know)
I feel the same for PS.
It feels like I know everything that happens in CoS. Like Harry sees this weird writing on the wall, tries to figure out what it is, finds out he’s a parselmouth, meets Tom Riddle, murders a basilisk, destroys the diary. Like it’s obviously missing a few parts but that’s pretty much correct, right? I can do the same for PS, a quick summary of what happens. Sure, there’s the argument for “you know everything that happens in every movie” but there is just something about PS/CoS that makes me to not want to watch it again. I also find PS slow and boring and unenjoyable, same for CoS.
(Note: haven’t seen CoS/PS since 2016/17)
So, I feel chamber of secrets is too short, and the action scenes aren't as exciting as I thought they should be. the main reason is that everything seems so much shorter.
Thank you!! I was just fairly curious
It's decent, but comparing it to the other books, it kinda sucks.
^ that's fair enough, i respect your opinion
Unfair that you ranked Chamber of Secrets dreadful. I mean I get its your opinion, but it had fairly allot of information about Tom Riddle and we see our first horcrux. Also, we're introduced about an interesting magical creature that I feel is very fascinating, Ginny was about to get killed, we know that Salzar Slytherin chamber and we realise that Voldy & Harry have a sort of connection.
Thats allot of excitement, imo. I wouldn't call it short. The plot was really interesting at least make it poor.
What were you expecting if this wasn't it, like a general idea?
That wasn't the only excitement we see allot of memories if you felt that wasn't allot, well idk.
Also, we're introduced about an interesting magical creature that I feel is very fascinating
The basilisk is the only good part of CoS

The basilisk is indeed the only good part of CoS. We don't know the diary is a horcrux, The Salazar Slytherin chamber isn't a cool part, it's legit just a door you have to hiss at, Ginny is kind of an idiot for listening to a diary with a person in it, she should have found someone else to confine her feelings to. The connection with Harry and Voldemort wasn't exciting to me.

Why did I laugh-
What do you think?
