However times you turn it, it turns back an hour and lets u go back in time, the only thing is you cant be seen by yourself, this is from my knowledge but idk

There's some differences between PoA timeturners and TCC timeturners. In PoA you cannot change the past, because what you do in the past has already happened, whereas on TCC you can go back and change whatever you want.

I prefer PoA explanation, but TCC one is the typical one in sci-fi stories (Back to the Future, Avengers, X-Men, Star Trek...)
