the one above me is one less than two below
the one next to me is one less than two below
the one below me is number two of two below
the one in my spot is number two of two below
flip through my history and there's me times 3
and you'll find me entwined where these numbers converge
who am I?
Hints: this character is in the second half of the main series and in the films (his full name is not in the books). He is male and is no longer alive. He is magical, but didn't go to school at the same time as Harry. There are eight people in this riddle, all who share a source. The answer is related to at least one of them and at least one of them was in the first half of the ms.
Not all the "two below" refer to the same person. The "two below" in line 2 is different from the "two below" in line 3.
"The one above me" is not in the main series.
“The one next to me” is in the films
The "two below" in line 3 is in the MS.
"The one in my spot" refers to the answer.
The history is broader than just the answer's history. The me times 3 all have at least two things in common. The other two are not in the main series, but they are in at least one MS movie.
