Aside from Chamber of Secrets Ginny didn’t really have any character

Even though in Order of The Phoenix she takes part in the battle in the Department of Mysteries, she’s still pretty much a background character. And the rest of the movies with her scenes she’s only there as Harry’s love interest.

Actually I think in the books the HarryxGinny ship came out of nowhere. The films had a better build up to them getting together
