Amazing that 'a lot of people' could possibly think they know the character better than the author 🤯
Idk maybe
Maybe I refuse to agree bx 1- I'm projectioning onto him and 2- bc i hate her lol
I don't think I know him better I'm saying that he was written in a way that contradicts her statements abt him that's all
That's saying you think she's wrong about her own character...
I'm saying her writing is contradictory
To out it simply I'm saying her writing was faulty
Which there IS alot of fault in all of her writing so it's not surprising she didn't do very well with Draco characterization
If she had INTENDED for him to be irredeemable she should've written him more closer to how she wrote Umbridge
Where she gave him no sob story and where he wasn't remorseful about becoming a demon eater, where he didn't cry before attempting to kill Dumbledore
Those are huge reasons why I think he's redeemable
Maybe if she wanted us to hate him she should've chosen a different writing tactic
THATS what I'm saying
Thanks for your explanation.
It sounds like you don't think she's allowed to have complex characters who, despite having a lot of personal flaws (or maybe because of them), should not also find it hard to murder an old man..
He didn’t tho Snape did also he said if I don’t kill you they will kill me also Harry Potter' star Tom Felton says there's footage of Draco throwing Harry his wand for the final duel against Voldemort, but it didn't end up in the movie
That scene was deleted for a reason
It wasn't just any old man, it was the renowned Albus Dumbledore. Anyone would find that painful, especially with the publicity and despise from everyone around you.
I think Draco's a good person, but not for the reason of his hesitance to kill. And for better or for worse, what Rowling says is what goes. Not what fans say.
It was deleted because Daniel was a butter fingers and couldn’t catch the wand they shot it a lot of times but he couldn’t catch it I’m not saying Draco is good but he’s not bad either and he is a good adult
What do you think?
