I think if there was, so much more people would love Harry Potter! Some people don't like reading chapter books or watching movies, so comics would be great for them!

Yes, exactly, I know so many people who have stopped trying to read the series because the first like 2 chapters are sooo boring, so they won't give it a chance.

@Meemzybeemzy10 @MrsSencen04 The best part about there being a comic book series would be that they would explore more of the story's universe and mythos, just like how Dark Horse did so with Star Wars. There are SO many ideas to create for a Harry Potter comic book series. Other than adapting the original stories in comics, one series could be about the Hogwarts Founders in their youths long before they founded the school, another series could be about the birth of magic in ancient times, another series could be about the foundings of Beaxubatons, Durmstrang, and even the establishing of very first Triwizard Tournament, and another series could be about the wizarding world's very first werewolf (i.e., patient zero).

I would totally read that

JKRs work is best when she can go into detail. Her efforts to go straight to film, for example, have not managed to capture the same 'magic' as her novels, because her storylines and characters are too complex for a 90 min screenplay.

I can't imagine her being able to do justice to the wizarding world in a comic... too much of what she's good at would be stripped away.
