None all are understanding

Watching any of the movies before reading the matchimg book can definitely get confusing. They did a great job fitting as much story as they do into such a short period of time, but they definitely had to cut a lot of 'non essential story background'...like the reason Snape is the 'Prince'. It's because his witch mothers maiden name was Prince.. totally not explained in the movie..

I always get confused when authors start to describe places. Not just in Harry Potter but everywhere. Like, how does that work? It’s also not because English isn’t my first language because in my native language (Dutch) I have the exact same problem. I just can’t visualise the room and that confuses me

I did get confused on that when I first watched the movies I was like "How the absolute ferret are you a prince??? You literally just killed Dumbledore and that somehow makes you royalty??? What the ferret???"

But when I read the books to find out his mother's last name I was like, "Oh... That's why. Never mother ferreting mind."

I watched POA movie first before the book so I was really confused about how Harry’s patronus was a stag, why it even was an animal in the first place, and why did he say that he saw his dad cuz I don’t think they look similar at all 💀.
