PLOT
If you're a demigod or magician who also happens to be a wizard/witch, lucky you! This is the first year for a new program, the Demigod and Magician Initiative (or DMI for short), that aims to allow demigods and magicians who are also wizards/witches to attend wizarding schools (despite many outcries against this), and you're going to Hogwarts, the only participating school! You might be a first year student who's barely used their magic yet, or maybe an older student who was forced to learn magic in secret, and can finally flaunt their abilities. Either way, tensions are high, with an extremist group called Society Against Impurity growing in power, claiming that demigods and magicians should be hunted down, as they're too dangerous, and seeking to continue what the Death Eaters couldn't do: eliminate Muggles. And even Hogwarts might not be safe from them.
If you're just a normal wizard/witch, I'd say you're still lucky to be able to attend Hogwarts! You've heard of this new DMI program, and you might have different feelings about it. Regardless, this year is sure to be much more different than usual. You've also heard about the Society Against Impurity, and while they might not be a threat to you specifically right now, they might become one soon.

STARTING PLOT
