Harry is on the 1st task of the triwizard tournament

Harry: I was told I have to participate in the tournament but they never said I had to complete the task

Harry tries to accio the egg but the spell doesn't work

Harry: well I tried. I'll just go back

Harry goes back to the tent

Cedric: Harry what happened?

Harry: I didn't want to be here. I didn't put my name in the Goblet of Fire. Besides nobody told me I had to do the whole task

Somebody gives the egg to Harry since Harry refused to participate and a few months later Harry is in the 2nd task, Harry goes to the water and returns shortly after

Fleur: Harry you're already back?

Harry: yes. I didn't want to be here so I made my minimum effort. Besides I'm pretty sure Dumbledore won't let die anybody. I don't think anybody's on real danger

A few months later Harry is on the 3rd task, enters the maze and shoots red sparks shortly after

Dumbledore: You already got in danger Harry?

Harry: No sir. I didn't put my name in the Goblet of Fire. I didn't want to be here. Besides they only told me I had to participate but they never told me I had to complete the task
