This is one of the 2 movies that I hate, the other being Half-Blood Prince, but we'll get to that later. I hate it because they made a lot of changes to the movie from book which.. I didn't like. Goblet of Fire is a decently dark book, but they focused a little more on the comedy which wasn't a good choice. Mike Newell the director refused to read the book because it was "too long" which says all I need to know. And yes, you definitely heard this a million times but why did they completely change Dumbledore's vibe in this movie? In the book he asked "Did you put your name in the Goblet of Fire, Harry?" CALMLY. But in the movie, he was like "DIDYOUPUTYOURNAMEINTHEGOBLETOFFIRE?" while shaking him like crazy. Mike Newell also originally planned to add a troll ballet scene (THANK GOD THEY DIDN'T GO THROUGH WITH IT) Sorry for the essay, this is why I hate the GOF movie. Also, this is my second favorite book. They definitely massacred my boy. My least favorite Harry Potter movie by far
