I really liked Harry in his second year cause the threat of the basilisk create a more intense and thrilling storyline compared to his first year or maybe other years yk? The danger feels more immediate and personal and Harry’s bravery is highlighted when he saves Ginny and defeats the basilisk. These hero (or heroic?) actions solidify his status as a true hero in the eyes of readers and people who watch the film. So.. yeah :)
