what do you think was the dumbest thing a character(or whatever) has done?
I know one! My example is Voldemort hiding one of his Horcruxes in the Room of Requirement at Hogwarts. This room is known for hiding things, and he assumed no one else would find it. However, it was a place frequently used by students to hide their own items.
