PLOT
Due to some unknown circumstances, Harry Potter was killed that fateful night in Godric's Hollow, and all faith was lost in the prophecy. However, this also resulted in Voldemort's physical form being obliterated. Though people believe Voldemort has finally been defeated, some are skeptical.
It's September 2nd, 1991, the day after the Sorting Ceremony. You might be a first year, excited to start at Hogwarts without the threat of Voldemort, or an older student who's looking forward to another year. Either way, you're special. Maybe you might have some unique powers, or you might be an entirely different species. Unbeknownst to you, you and a few others are meant to save this world. Guided by a mysterious ghost, you'll soon find out that Voldemort may not be as dead as you thought he was.

RULES
One canon character per person, unlimited OCs
We don't have to stick strictly to canon, so non-canon ships between characters are allowed, and so are OC x canon
For simplicity's sake, no time manipulation or mind control powers; otherwise you're allowed as many powers and any power that isn’t crazy OP (ex. insta kill or whatever)
I'll be controlling the teacher characters for plot reasons, so in rp, ping me if you need me for a teacher (if it's like a really minor event you guys can control the teachers yourselves)
Remember this takes place in 1991!! No electronics and stuff that aren’t true to the time period
Ships between characters should only have a maximum of a 1 year difference
