9. Background/History: Emma Williams, born in 1975, was destined for a life of adventure and resilience. As a half-blood witch, she inherited the magical prowess and rich legacy of her parents, both of whom were half-blood wizards. Tragically, in 1980, when Emma was just five years old, her parents were murdered by Barty Crouch Jr. during the dark times when Voldemort's influence was at its peak.
Orphaned at such a tender age, Emma was taken in by her half-aunt, Honoria Battles. Honoria, a stern yet compassionate witch, provided a stable home for Emma. For two years, Honoria nurtured Emma's budding magical abilities and instilled in her the values of bravery and justice. However, as Honoria's responsibilities at the Ministry of Magic grew, it became increasingly challenging for her to care for Emma.
