@RedGamer2009! Hard to do.. because he's dead.. too soon?
Seriously though (resisted saying Siriusly..) he does talk about Walburga and refers to her as his mother..although not in a very complimentary way haha.
"My mother didn’t have a heart, Kreacher,” Sirius snapped. "She kept herself alive out of pure spite."
Omg
Too soon!
It's been years and years now, but still TOO SOON
^^^ Yep because He’s Harry’s uncle
Misclicked
I can't recall the exact details of Harry inheriting Kreacher with the house- but I can see an argument that he was magically able to bind the Blacks house elf, instead of him being given to Bellatrix- a Black by Blood.
So intent/desire was magically more binding than blood
^ Dear Merlin... I would not even want to imagine how long Kreacher would last living with Bellatrix if given to him... Probably not even a few minutes in a day.
I'd feel bad for him if he wasn't so ungrateful of Hermione trying to free him from slavery.
Actually Kreacher was very fond of Bellatrix.. had a picture of her next to his bed and referred to her as 'Miss Bella'..
I'm not saying she's a perfect master by any means- but it certainly seems he would have been very happy to serve her.
... Okay I definitely missed that part.
Walburga was his mother even though she disowned him @Gamechangerhr f
Sirius was Walburga's eldest son and he was a huge disappointment to her and the rest of the family, since he disagreed with the Black family's beliefs in blood purity and was sorted into Gryffindor rather than Slytherin. Her relationship with Sirius became particularly antagonistic and when Sirius ran away from home at the age of 16, she disowned him and blasted his name off the tapestry and even treated her brother Alphard to the same punishment simply for leaving money to his nephew. If she had heard about him being sent to Azkaban, she was likely pleased. Though she seemingly hated him, Kreacher did state Walburga was heartbroken by Sirius's departure and his views, so it is likely she didn't really hate him and was simply very disappointed in him.
Euphemia and her husband came to regard Sirius as something of a second son. When Sirius was disowned and ran away from home, Euphemia took him in. After Sirius moved into his own flat, he kept in touch with the Potters, and was always welcome to have lunch with them on Sundays.
Euphemia's actions in taking in a young Sirius Black and becoming a mother-figure in his life would later be echoed with her grandson Harry being taken in by Molly Weasley and treated like a son in the absence of his own family. Ironically, Molly is the maternal grandmother of Euphemia's great-grandchildren James, Albus and Lily.
