The fact that threstrals can only be seen by people who have seen death makes them underrated in the Harry Potter universe.

Also it would be cool if dementors could only be seen/felt by those who expierenced trauma- and unlike thestrals, they aren't sweet and gentle, so no one would want to see them lol

^^^^^^ dementors can only be seen by witches and wizards, and if you think of it that way then they've all been throught trauma: finding out they are wizards/witches for muggleborns, seeing ghosts fly around, and oh, yes: Umbridge. I think those things are plenty of trauma if you ask me, so technically they ARE only seen by ppl who have trauma...
