Yeah no offence to anyone but a platonic ship is still a ship

It is similar to a friendship, though it may involve more holding of hands

It's just slightly more intimate than a friendship would be

Regulus and lily are a fascinating concept and may (possibly) make an oc who is a child of that ship

Unless i ever theoretically come up with a better lily child oc concpt, of course! Then i might just do that instead :D
