Oh ok xD
This is my theory of why Wormtail is in Gryffindor.
You know how the sorting hat takes people's consideration into account, right? Well, I think that the only reason he's in Gryffindor is because he wanted to be in the house. (The reason why is because he wanted to be with his friends for protection) As you can see, he displays no bravery and just hides behind James, Sirius, and Remus. If he didn't want to be in Gryffindor, he would 100% be in another house. (Though, none would suit him)
I mean, 'arry managed to avoid being put in Slytherin because of his request to not be put in that house lol (poor Slytherin *cri*)
^^ That really could be true, Harry did manage to get out of Slytherin because he wanted to be a Gryffindor. And the same with Hermione except she was supposed to be in Ravenclaw but she valued bravery above all so she wanted to go to Gryffindor too.
But unlike them, Peter has no Gryffindor qualities, so him wanting to be in Gryffindor could really be the only explanation.
Quirrle was in RAVENCLAW? I thought that were supposed to be smart.
^lmao
Maybe Quirrell was smart, but then he got traumatised to be the Quirinus Quirrell we know.
I think Wormtail was arguably the worst, he was a middle/high school bully, joined the death eaters, betrayed his best friends, helped resurrect the Voldemort, and he killed Cedric too.
Quirrle was in RAVENCLAW? I thought that were supposed to be smart.Lockhart was a Ravenclaw too, but I wouldn't describe him as 'smart' lol, few people would.
Besides, I believe the books state that Quirrel was actually good at teaching DADA, before he decided to temporarily leave the position to get some hands-on experience, and that's how he became the stammering coward we saw of him. Like Wikibianca said, he got traumatized.
Luckily, despite everything I've been through in life, I'm quite the opposite of traumatized. Some Ravenclaws- and people in general- can keep a cool head under pressure a bit better than others.
I think it is possible that the source of Peter's cowardice, uselessness, and treacherous ways might possibly stem from growing up with an absentee father.
What do you think?
