I never understood the difference between Confringo and Bombarda. They look the same to me.. (Btw, my favourite is the Patronus charm.)

Sort of. Confringo has the advantage of being able to hit targets that are further away, but Bombarta (and Bombarta Maxima) are able to explode their targets, unlike Confringo.

Bombarda maxima is close as it is: I Don't Care How Big the Room Is, I CAST FIREBALL
