Hello, dear wizards and witches, and this is a legit and easy tutorial on how to get depressed.
Read at least one of these.
Hello, dear wizards and witches, and this is a legit and easy tutorial on how to get depressed.
Read at least one of these.
I just remember having a hard time reading it bc Umbridge was so annoying
Bro, same
Harry being irritable only bothered me a little bit, Umbridge was 99.99% why I was reluctant to read it at first
Oh yeah, Harry was a bit of the prob too. Only like 0.01% though. Umbridge was the other 99.99%, like u said.
Usually it is Hermione that gets on my nerves when the Golden Trio is having issues with each other (like the whole Firebolt or Scabbers vs. Crookshanks thing in PoA).
I rememember Harry being very distant in OOTP.
I was NOT expecting Tris to die. And it’s kind of messed up that she dating her teacherI guess, but at least the age gap between them isn't as huge as the one between Victor Krum and Hermione...
^^^Bro, s**cide (just gonna censor just in case I can't say that word) is part of every single Hunger Games book. Katniss, Haymitch, EVEN CORIOLANUS in his book.
Ya only see that once in HP I think for Harry, which would in OOTP after Sirius died. I think it was there (haven't read that book in forever), but not specifically stated...I haven't read Coriolanus Snow's book in ages and don't remember any s**cide part of it... and I didn't yet get the chance to read SOTR, the book about Haymitch, but I am rereading the first THG book and oooooof, Haymitch is nothing if not constantly drunk...
And I'm glad it was only implied for poor Harry.
In the book, Corio thought about it when thinking of how he was going to be stuck with the Peacekeepers in 12. For him, it is a case that he fears powerlessness more than death.
In the movie he mentions to his friend Sejanus on the train that he thought about it, and Sejanus was like, "Why? When we are close to making a difference?". Obviously Sejanus wanted to help the districts, as u prob remember.
If you saw a previous comment by OtakuGirlandFriends913, she put the part in HP's OOTP when it showed Harry's momentary struggle, which was hard to read for me bc I am not little anymore, so it didn't go over my head. Also personal stuff I am not about to get into with people i don't know irl.
Personally, I think Harry Potter is dark, but isn't dark enough to be depressing. I would say Hunger games is more likely to do that. But yeah, Kny kinda made me cry in the infinity castle arc lol. I think aot and berserk are more depressing though, if you wanted to read/ watch those.
*Evil laugh*
Oh and for sotr I was literally hiding from my family sobbing when I finished that book like I was NOT okay
^I haven't finished SOTR, but I already know the whole plot anyways. Who wouldn't, since Catching Fire already told us the big parts of Haymitch's backstory? Even Maysilee was brought up in Catching Fire (I think I mispelled her name). Hunger Games hadn't made me cry once (yet). For me tho I watched some of Movieflames vids on YouTube, so I got spoilers. Didn't mind tho.
What about for Harry Potter tho? Did anything (book or movie) get u to cry or almost cry?
@OtakuGirlandFriends913 Agreed. For me it was when Hedwig died. It was too much for me.
What do you think?
