[Context] Faith Kendar is my OC, who’s the same age as Hermione and best friends with Luna Lovegood. During the Battle of Hogwarts, when Luna and Faith were dueling Rookwood, Rookwood launched the Killing Curse at Faith.

And as Luna sat silently on the ground, looking at the happy crowd, her heart gave a leap. She was already happy that Voldemort was defeated, what was there to be next—

Faith was there, beaming. “Good job, Harry,” she seemed to be saying. Luna’s eyes welled up in both sad and happy tears. “You’ve been such a good friend,” she said. Faith gave a mischievous grin and… Luna blinked. And Faith was there no more.

It’s short, but, I think I like it.
