Ron's character background is given little importance, but it must be remembered that he was forced to live in the shadow of his older brothers, that he is not often given credit for the exploits he did with Harry, that when he becomes Gryffindor's keeper the Slytherins make fun of him, and he seems less brave than Harry and Hermione, but he is only human, closer to us.
