Alice Longbottom

Canon: After The Wizarding War, Neville becomes Herbology Teacher. Theory: He doesn't want any students to become Overstimulated, so he takes lots of breaks and gives students Chocolate every 10 minutes. He goes to St. Mungos to turn The Closed Ward into a Place of Healing, and not a place to just put the patients. as he's walking the ward, he hears a Woman's Voice he hasn't heard since he was 1. "Neville?"

After writing this I started crying.

Charlie Cox as both older and younger frank, Carey Mulligan (as Kitty Bennet) as younger Alice, Lily James as Older Alice.

I'm pretty sure we all know I'm obsessed with Marauders fanfiction. That's my only reason for making this post.

We know that Alice comes from a pureblood family. We know the 'Sacred Twenty-Eight' is a group of pureblood families, and that is where I am basing some of my reasoning.

With logic, we know that Alice could not have been a Black or a Potter. Their family trees are very widely known and we know she is not included in those family trees.

Alice could not have been a Longbottom because then she would have had the same last name as her husband, Frank.

She is not a Gaunt because their family line is extinct, nor an Olivander because even though they are part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, they technically aren't a pureblood family anymore.

It makes sense that Alice does not belong to a traditionally Slytherin family, heavily elitist and prejudiced families that support Voldemort, so this disqualifies her from being a Malfoy, Crabbe, Goyle, Mucibler, Rosier, or any similar family.

There is a slim possibility that Alice was part of the Greengrass family. We know Astoria and Daphne were raised to believe in traditional Slytherin family beliefs, so it is not a very good prediction.

Some people think Alice could have been part of the Weasley family, but their family is too widely known thought the series and is too famous for us to never hear of Alice being a member.

Alice probably wouldn't have been a Prewett. We all know that Molly Weasley's maiden name is Prewett, and her brothers were Fabian and Gideon Prewett. It wouldn't have made sense because Alice would have been her sister or a close cousin. Therefore, Molly would have known about Neville and it would make sense if her children knew about Neville too. So, we know Prewett would not have worked. Of course, there could have been miscommunication which could be the reason why Molly didn't know that Neville was her nephew (if Alice & Molly were sisters). If this theory is correct, it would probably be the fault of miscommunication.

One person thinks Alice could have been a Selwyn and not Fortescue. The Selwyn family is something we don't see much in the books. We know Umbridge used their family as an excuse when questioned about the Slytherin locket, but besides that, we don't know much about the family. Their family is part of the Sacred Twenty-Eight. We know there is a Death Eater with the surname Selwyn that participated in the Second War. Although there is one known Death Eater from their family, it doesn't mean their whole family is made of Death Eaters. I disagree with this theory, but there's a possibility that this theory is correct.

According to the Madam Pince Tumblr page, there's a possibility that Alice is part of the Lestrange Family. She could be a second or third cousin of Rodolphus or Rabastan. I'm sure that Alice is not their sister. If this is true, she would be distantly related to the Black family because of Rodolphus's marriage to Bellatrix Black. It would make sense why Bellatrix and the other Death Eaters would be prejudiced against Alice and her family. The Longbottoms disagreed with Voldemort, thus making them a target for the Death Eaters who deemed them as 'Blood Traitors'.

Many fans insist that her last name is Fortescue, but nobody seems to know where this came from. This would make her, if not closely, related to Florean Fortescue, a descendant from the once Hogwarts Headmaster, Dexter Fortescue. Again, this information is not confirmed. But we do know about Harry's encounter with Florean. He sounds like a pretty cool guy. What makes me confused is why he isn't known by Neville. We can assume that if Alice was part of the Fortescue family, she'd be Florean's sister or a close cousin since they are alive at relatively the same time. So why isn't he 'in' Neville's life? I'll leave that for you guys to think about.

Using this information, I can predict that she could have been a member of the Fortescue or Prewett families, but of course, this is not confirmed. Let me know your thoughts!!!

"Slow your arse down Prongs!" Sirius yelled as James runs through the halls in front of everyone. James and Peter told me and Sirius that they had had a new prank they wanted to try out today on Malfoy. We agreed because anyway to make Lucius pay is worth while.

"Yeah, w-we could barley k-keep up," I yelled as well as we meet up with Peter at the forbidden floor.

"Oops, sorry mates! Anyway let's go through the plan!" James was explaining the plan when he out of nowhere looked up and smiled. I was gonna turn and look to see what he was looking at when I locked eyes with Sirius Bloody Black. He smiled at me ,and looked back at the plan format. I instantly blushed and made a attempt to hide it. Ever since 3rd year I have had the biggest crush on him and I am terrible at hiding it.

"So what is the plan exactly Prongsie?" Sirius asked. I was kinda surprised Sirius didn't know what James had planned since He and James usually made them together.

"Uhhh... let's just say it will definitely be a prank to remember if all goes according to plan.." He said with a evil smirk. Sirius lifted his brow at this and I shrugged it off. I assume it's gonna be another failed attempt to impress/win over Lily Evans. Even though it never works, James like to add a little bit of 'Shabam~!' as he calls it into all his plans. This wouldn't be the first time he has used a prank to hopefully get a date with his 'Gingered-Lily-flower' Bleh.

"Anyway we just have to wait for our targets to be in place and were all set!" Peter said looking very shadily towards the door. The fact that James told Peter the plan and not Me or Sirius set me off edge. Maybe he didn't tell me cause it's something I'm gonna try and stop, but why wouldn't he tell Padfoot? I didn't have the best feeling with that thought.

~Ten minutes later...~

Me and Peter were quietly chatting as we waited for the so called 'targets' to get here. From the comer of my eye I saw James look up from Sirius and look at the door. He then grabbed his wand and said what seemed to sound like 'Accio R......Wa..', but I couldn't here what he actually spawned over to him.

"Hey Remus, could you grab a broom from the closet," James asked. "Were gonna need it for sure to pull this off." I gave him a simple nod, accused myself from mine and Peter's conversation, and walked towards the broom closet to grab a broom. I opened the door and pecked in to be greeted by darkness.

I reached into my pocket for my wand, but it wasn't there. I realized I had been using it earlier before helping Peter with a few future prank details. I figured I left it on the table so I turned to the group. "Hey can one of you either hand me my wand or shine some light in here?" I asked the group reaching around to see if I could find a broom without light.

"I'm not seeing your wand, but I can cast a charm Moony," Sirius responded walking over. "Lumos..." He casted sending a shine of light into the closet. I blushed at him being so close to be as he did the spell. The way the 'os...' of the spell rolled off his tongue made his breath land on my neck, this sending shivers down my spine.

I quickly shook the red off my face and looked into the the task on hand. I peeked slowly into the room and looked around for a broom. Something was off though. "Uh, James?" I question him. Sirius peeked into view and then walked in front of me. He took a look around and saw the same view that I was looking at; It was a completely empty closet.

"Sorry mate but there's no bro-" I started as a pair of soft yet forceful hands pushed me forward. I hit Sirius and we both feel into the closet. Just before the door closed though we both saw the figure of a ginger haired Gryffindor close the door shut giggling up a storm.

I immediately knew who it was. "LILY EVANS YOU OPEN THIS DOOR THIS BLOODY INSTANT!" I screamed at Lily.

"U-uh M-M-Moony..." I heard Sirius mumble. I was confused as to where this was coming from, but the I looked down and realized I was straddling Sirius. I let out a deep pink blush and jumped right off of him.

"I u-uh I-I um, s-sorry!" Was all I could could manage to get out once I was finally standing.

"Oh no... i seems like the door is 'stuck.' Guess you guys are stuck in there with each other..." We heard Lily say as what was obviously James, Alice, Frank, and Peter giggling and snorting arose.

"Stuck my arse..." Sirius mumbled to where I could barley hear it. I looked at him and realized that these closets seemed a lot smaller then usual. Me and Sirius were inches away from being noses touching each other. "Uhhmm.. this is awkward."

"Yeah..." I half-heatedly replied. I then locked eyes with him, and for a moment I could have sworn that I saw him blush a tint of light red.

"So... hey?" He let out. I laughed at this comment.

"Hey..." I awkwardly replied. The tension in the room seemed like it was so high, it could suffocate and kill us both.

We both just stared straight at each other for what seemed like an entirety, which was probably only 5-10 minutes, before Sirius spoke.

"H-hey you o-okay? Your um... a little red in the f-face..." He stuttered as he, what I could clearly now see a deep red blush appeared on his face.

"W-what? O-Oh! Right yeah, u-uh s-sorry! ... Sorry if I-I made you uncomfortable there mate..." I giggled. He then turned to the door and started banging on it. He tried to cast 'Alohomora' as well, but for some reason it didn't work.

Once I could tell he was completely focused on the door I turned my head and let out a single tear. It was so painful to see the guy I liked right in front of me tugging at my heartstrings so easily. I was making the situation a lot worse then it was so I sunk down to the floor. Anything to avoid him at this point. "Moony..?" I heard a soft voice speak.

I turned and looked up to meet eyes with Sirius. A look of worry came over his face, and he slowly knelt down beside me trying not to squish us in between the two tightly packed walls,. "Moony what's wrong? Why are you crying?" He asked genitally.

I honestly didn't even notice I was crying so much till I saw my tear stained robes. "It's n-nothing. It's stupid anyway!" I shouted at him. He was taken aback by this and I could tell.

I sighed and looked at him. "L-Look, I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to snap at you like that... It's just," He looked at me confusedly. I sighed again searching for the right words to say. But all I could do was rant. "It's so hard to be around you...!" I finally blurted out. He gave me a look of pity and confusion.

"W-w-what do you mean? Did I do something wrong?" he mumbled.

"No, no you didn't, you did nothing wrong that is the bloody point," I yelled once again. He seemed to have very mixed thoughts with that comment. "You are perfect, and hot, and sweet, and just it hurts so bad to be around you when I feel like this an-!" But before I could finish I was cut off.

The next thing I knew Sirius's lips were on mine and he was wrapping his hand onto my check. I was shocked and my eyes were wider then humanly possible. I-I had to be dreaming right?!?! The Sirius Black was kissing me? ME!?! Mr. WerewolfMonsterFreakBoy! (Remy Nooo T^T) He was kissing me?!?

I eventually got out of my shock end melted into the kiss. Even if this was a dream I didn't want to waste a single moment of It. I wrapped my arms around his neck and straddled his lap. He placed his hands on my hips and we snogged for what seemed like ages. He claimed dominance at a point and everything felt... right. This was right everything was perfect. We eventually let go and started at each other.

We both burst into laughter and place our foreheads on one another. I felt like there was nothing possible to break what we had right no-

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! YESSSS! I CALLED IT! REMUS IS BOTTOM! PAY UP POTTER!" I could hear Lily screaming. We looked up to see the door open with Lily, James, Peter, Alice, Frank, Dorcas, and Marlene staring at us with smirks, laughter, PLUS Lily and James with nosebleeds.(I would have one to if I witnessed that O//w//O)

"See, I told you everything would work out as planned. And perfect it was," James smirked at us. "Quite a prank to remember my dudes! Oh, and ere's your wand back..."

(Sorry this was crappy, again if anything needs to be taken out or removed mods just let me know! I also see Remus and Sirius as switches tbh as well. I just did bottom Remy for storyline purposes! Mischief Managed...

So i know there's a lot of tension between HP and Twilight. Why tho? They have nothing to do with each other. Let's cut it down.

Robert Pattinson. Come on, guys. It's not his fault he played both. And besides, Emma Watson played Belle, do we hate Beauty and the Beast for that? No. Rob didn't even like Twilight. That reasoning is out.

Names. Alice Cullen to Alice Longbottom. Charlie Swan to Charlie Weasley, the Black werewolf to Black who ran away. Yeah, they have a bunch of the same names--but other books have our names down, too! Do we hate Percy Jackson because they have a Percy too? Or do we hate Divergent because they had a Peter too? No!

Back to the Blacks. Jacob Black was a shapeshifter wolf. Sirius Black was an Animagus dog. Yeah, they're similar, but that might have been a complete coincidence. Jake has nothing on Padfoot.

Twilight has nothing to do with HP. A romance with vampires and werewolves with conflict on a series about a boy who goes to a magic school and has problems? What? I don't get it.

Give me a few more reasons to rant about in the comments, this makes me feel good. (I kinda feel like there should be a wiki page for this nonsense but whatever.)
