Ariana Dumbledore

When writing her book The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore to present a skewed yet truthful history on Dumbledore's life, Rita spoke to people who had known Dumbledore when he was young. She tried to interview Elphias Doge, but was rebuffed. She spoke to Grindelwald's great-aunt, Bathilda Bagshot (using some highly questionable interviewing methods). She spoke to an old neighbor of the Dumbledores, Enid Smeek.

Yet she didn't speak to the one person who knew Dumbledore better than anyone, who knew the truth about Ariana, and Kendra, and Dumbledore's friendship with Grindelwald. She didn't speak to Aberforth. Given Aberforth's rift with Albus, the way their fight at the funeral was described, you'd think she'd have really wanted to interview him for her book. But she didn't. Why?

Maybe because Aberforth knew the actual truth, not rumors and speculation, and while it may not have put Albus in the best light, the actual truth was the last thing Rita was interested in.

Either that, or maybe Rita did find out who he was and track him down, only the moment she started asking questions about Ariana, Aberforth kicked her out.

Why didn't Dumbledore tell Harry about Ariana's death after Sirius died? Given that they were both indirectly responsible for the death of a loved one, I think it would've helped Harry to know that Dumbledore knew exactly what he was going through.

Is he ACTUALLY a good person? He killed his sister. I understand that it was an accident, but he was trying to kill his brother and hit his sister instead. He should be in Azkaban for actually using the spell. He used an illegal spell. So before you go saying he is good, think, he killed people. Then they let him become a teacher. And he knew something was up with Tom but didn't stop him, and so he is the reason Voldemort is who he is.

Like it’s the biggest spoiler I could put after telling the whole movie. Seriously, if you don’t wanna be spoiled, don’t read this. If you don’t want to be spoiled and you read it and you say « You spoiled me ! », well, you can’t say I didn’t warned you.

So, I had a theory related to the title. In fact, we don’t learn much about Albus in that movie. My friends and me wanted to know who k*l**d Arianna ? We didn’t… So. As there is many Dumbledores, maybe the title didn’t refer to Albus ?

In that movie, we learned a thing that crushed all our beliefs /hj.

Credence Barebone is in fact Aurelius DUMBLEDORE ! Albus’ brother, as Grindelwald says ? No ! Aberforth’s son ! So, maybe the title refers to Aberforth’s secret ! The one that he had a son that nobody knew about !

Today at school we came back from spring break. Me and my friend had both watched Secrets of Dumbledore over the holidays. We were talking about how amazing it was that Ariana was an obscurial (am i spelling it right?) and suddenly she says “I LOVE Dumbledore” so I asked why. She said because he admitted he was gay in 1932 which was super brave. I agreed, although we both knew he probably was, hence him not wanting to fight Grindlewald because he didn’t just see him as a brother but as a lover. Also I watch a lot of Chanwills0 on youtube.

OK, here me out....Ariana had a time turner and right at the moment when she was said to die, she time traveled and went to live with the grangers. She never told anyone, not even her close friends. Does it make sense?

So my theory is that Credence is Ariana dumbeldore's son , and that after Credence was born , Kendra had aunt Honoria take him away and Ariana upon realizing her baby was gone , in a fit of grief and rage killed her mother, albaforth likely covered up the reason to Albus as to make sure nobody knew Ariana was pregnant in the first place,what do you guys think.

2. HE RAISED HARRY like he was his son. Wait. How is that bad? oh riiiight. BECAUSE HE WAS JUST GOING TO LET HIM DIE AFTERWARDS (so voldemort would die)

If Albus Dumbledore is actually Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore, do Aberforth, Ariana and maybe even Aurelius (Credence) have three middle names too? That's 16 names Kendra had to come up with-

maybe they all share the same three middle names except Ariana?

What was Aberforth's boggart?

Or the Dumbledore parents, Percival and Kendra?

Or Ariana's?

Any speculation?

Who was it that cast the spell that killed Ariana?

Also, are there ways of dying in a magical duel besides for Avada Kedavra? Like being hit too many times by a Stunning Spell or something?

Was Ariana Dumbledore an Obscurial like her alleged relative Credence?

So, we have all heard, read and watched about the famous and powerful wizard Albus Dumbledore and his complicated past, especially his relationship with dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, with Albus falling in love with him, but Grindelwald not showing the same affection, that resulted in them falling out, and the death of Albus' younger sister Ariana, and his fallout with with his younger brother Aberforth. So, me being interested in that past, I am deciding to write a Harry Potter prequel (fan)book about Dumbledore and Grindelwald, while possibly featuring their famous and legendary duel. But what do you think I should add as well? Perhaps some chapters with the backstories of Grindelwald and Dumbledore before they meet? I don't know, so I thought you guys would help. What should else be included in the book? I know there are the Fantastic Beasts movies, but they show the Global wizarding war, and Newt chasing some magical beasts, not the entire backstory of Dumbledore and Grindelwald. And what do you think about this? A great idea? Or a bad one? Please let me know.
