I just thought this was a really cool fanart and wanted to share it! It's suppose to represent the scene where Dumbledore and Grindelwald make their blood pact. But yeah I just thought that this was really well-made.

In the Potterverse, the blood pact has been alternately called a Troth or an Oath, but an old fanfic that was deleted popped into my head when thinking about a phrase said in Secrets of Dumbledore: "We were closer than brothers." It is implied that even when they were enemies, Gellert only ever saw Albus as his Equal. The blood pact seems to be Old Magic, and Magic itself is very unpredictable. Would it not be too much to assume that the Magic of a Blood Pact can be varied and that the one between Albus and Gellert was more than just between ex-lovers but rather between two Husbands/Spouses? It is also implied that even after defeating him in 1945 and before, they NEVER stopped loving each other. Was it a sign of a very strict marriage, and now that it has broken, a rather demanding divorce or perhaps even annulment?
In Chapter 6 of Order of the Phoenix, this is said "They were crammed with an odd assortment of objects: a selection of rusty daggers, claws, a coiled snakeskin a number of tarnished silver boxes with languages Harry could not understand and, least pleasant of all, an ornate crystal bottle with a large opal set into the stopper, full of what Harry was quite sure was blood."
So, I was re-watching 'Fantastic Beasts and The Crimes Of Grindelwald,' and I came up with this theory about the blood pact (of doom), I theorized that Dumbledore will be able to fight Grindelwald because the blood pact was phony. I believe that the pact has a fatal flaw to it, it was not created with true love on both sides. I believe that although Dumbledore did it with love on his side, but Grindelwald did it as a way to ensure that his biggest threat could be neutralized. When Grindelwald found out that the blood pact could not protect him, he set out to find Credence Barebone, his only hope to eradicate Dumbledore, that is why he let Newt's Niffler steal the pact, he had no need of it any longer.
How do you like this theory, please comment any flaws or addition in this theory.
