I'm Hinako and I've been a fan of the movies (Sorry The Books Aren't Interesting To Me) for a few years now. I'm a proud Gryffindor, my friends say I'm more of a Ravenclaw though. My favorite characters are Ginny and Luna.

I just won a set of Harry Potter books in my school's battle of the books, I looked on amazon and it turns out that they're the 20th anniversary Gryffindor edition, and they're worth over $200!

I asked my lil sis why she doesn't like reading harry potter and she said it's always the same in the beggining. Like, Harry says he hates summer and wants to be at hogwarts in every book. I mean she's not wrong
SS book: “Harry, go to your cup- room. And Dudley… just go…”

CoS book: “His eyes are as green as a fresh pickled toad! His hair is as dark as a blackboard! He’s really Devine, I wish he were mine! The boy who conquered the Dark Lord!”
CoS movie: “Let’s hope that Harry Potter… will always be around to save the day…” “Oh, don’t worry, I will be.”
PoA book: “I haven’t poisoned that chocolate, you know.”

After a delicious, filling breakfast, we all went to the living room to see me open the presents my parents got me. I got some new clothes, The Secret Garden (classic), a drawing book and some pens. I was drawing in my brand new book when a letter shot through the mail chute. I thought it was just some junk mail, (by now I had already forgotten again,) and Patsy comes running down the hallway yelling at me waving the letter in the air.
“What?” I said.
“It- It’s for you!” Patsy said, out of breath.
“For me?” I take the letter.
When I saw the big red seal, it hit me.
“MUM!”
“What?”
“My letter! It came!”
“What!”
She sprints over as I start frantically opening the letter. I am now sitting strait up-right and my feet are pressed firmly against the ground.
“Dear Miss Evergreen,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry!”
I looked at Mum, who was reading over my shoulder, with the biggest smile on my face, and my mum smiled right back.
“Students will be required to report to the Chamber of Reception upon arrival.,” I read on, “Please find an enclosed list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on September 1st. We await your owl no later than July 31st. To avoid detection by Muggles, please use the entrance located at King’s Cross Station Downtown London, on platform 9 ¾. We look forward to having you at our school.
