In the third book harry mentions cedric is in 5th year

But the 4th book, the triwizard tournament , only 7th years can go

And they mention how he was in the last year of hogwarts

When the Ministry was trying to cover up that Cedric was killed by Voldemort, what did they say was the cause of death?

When Ron and Hermione are appointed prefects Molly suggests another rat as a reward, why would she get him something that turned out to be someone evil, did no one inform her that their former pet was a murderous death eater who slept in her sons' beds? was she willing to put Ron's life at risk again all because he got appointed a title? I thought she was a good parent.

I know that no adaptations are going to be prefect. I think the HP movies were pretty loyal to the books. But a few book to films changes really bugged me a lot

1. Cedric, I think the movies portrayed him so badly that I actually found he death hilarious. In the books he’s this sweet and selfless guy who’s willing to do anything to help others. In the books, Cedric stops to save Harry in the maze when the spider attacks him, and they work together to get the cup. In the film Harry and Cedric fight, Harry has to escape the hedge himself and they both reach the cup at the same time and sorta just decide to let the other have it. I think Cedric felt like any other over hyped popular boy you’d find in your high school, which definitely doesn’t make me feel any sympathy for him.

2. Cho, I think that Cho was a fun character in GoF book and film. But my problems really start in OoP. I wasn’t a fan of the Oof film and there was a lot wrong with it. But Cho and Harry’s relationship was very bland and awkward in the film. Sure it wasn’t great in the book either. But the film really screwed it up. Like I think Cho had a mildly valid excuse for her actions in the OoP book for breaking up with Harry. But like, ratting them out in the film most likely under a truth serum and getting blamed by the rest of the DA for it is insane. Like the films tried to make the viewers hate her so much that I actually felt really bad for her.

These are the best three characters from Hufflepuff

Cedric-died straight away, didn't get into his personality much.

Tonks-had basically no lines in movies, underrated.

Mad eye Moody -no one even knows he's Hufflepuff!

To think jk Rowling is actually Hufflepuff.

So I was just randomly thinking, what if I shipped characters from different books with Harry Potter characters! This is just my opinion, if you have any other ideas/characters I love to hear in the chats! Ik some of these don’t make sense since some of these characters already have like soulmates and are like different ages but try to imagine it! Btw, if you haven’t read some of these books, they are amazing and a great reading recommendation!

Who doesn't like Cedric Diggory? He is too overrated and although he didn't deserve to die there wasn't much he contributed to the films or books. Hate me if you want, but I'm just putting it out there.

In my opinion, one of the worst things in Hp are the ships, so I decided to make a list with some Hp ships and my opinion about them:

• Ginny and Harry

Harry is literally married to his best friend’s sister. I mean, how wrong is that?

• Ron and Hermione

They’ve been best friends for years, and it feels really awkward for someone to date it’s best friend. Also something that to me feels really odd.

• Cedric and Cho

It is just them. Nothing wrong about it, I just feel it is too plain.

• Lupin and Nymphadora (I think that’s how it’s written)

I don’t really get it. I know they do have some cute scenes, but it’s not like they were highlighted in the story or something (as a couple), so it is not so amazing, at least to me.

• Voldemort and Bellatrix

This is one of the few good/medium ships, in my opinion. It is good, because it is them, but we also don’t get too much about it. I think it would work great if we did, tho.

I know I didn’t give you to many examples but I’m not remembering other ships from the top of my mind rn.

There probably are characters you hate or at least dislike that most people love. Who is it and why.

Mine is Cedric first of all, i hate the actor Okay i hate every role he plays i just dont like him. Also Hes overrated people always talking about how handsome he is, maybe its because in asexual but i dont find him attractive at all. Now Please dont go screaming at me for hating him Okay. You scream at me i scream 10 worse at you. (I like having debates but yk what i mean )
