Why exactly is Sectumsempra treated as something horrible and Dark? It's practically just a combat version of Diffindo. In comparison to, say, an exploding spell, you'd think it'd be no big deal. There are plenty of spells that are worse than Sectumsempra yet they're treated as no big deal.
I recently read the fanfiction Always for the greater Good. It was just a one-shot. It was about Harry joining Grindelwald's acolytes, which includes Grindelwald breaking out. I would like to ask you, the HP community, for advice on some questions I have asked myself about continuing this fanfiction.
1. what reasons could Grindelwald have for escaping? I don't want to do any bashing
2. is it good to use Vinda Rosier and Bathilda Bagshot as mother figures for Harry (he will be in Slytherin)?
3. i want to start it in Harry 3 year and also include a scene later where he infiltrates the Order of the Phoenix at Grimmauld P]lace for Grindelwald. Is that a good idea? (Grindelwald will break out shortly before Sirius)
