Has anyone ever wondered how the disarming charm expelliarmus became the "signature move" of Harry Potter? When you read through the books and do the math one how many times each person says what spell it turns out that its not only used by Harry Potter:
In the first book no one uses the spell. In the second book Snape uses it once and Harry twice. In the Harry Potter and the Azkaban prisoner Sirius Black and Lupin use it once and Harry, again twice. In the 4th book, here Harry uses it three times. In the 5th book: Harry 1, James 1, DA members unspecified amount of times.
Nobody used this spell in the 6th Book. In the last book Hermione and Ron use it once and Harry Potter 4 times.
In addition, once he masters stupefy and impedimenta, Harry uses them against the Death Eaters a lot. If you would count how often he uses stupefy and it turns out that he actually used Stupefy the most. It's mainly just against Voldemort that he uses Expelliarmus, so it may look to the other characters that he only uses that spell. There is a nice spell quiz where you can test yourself how many spells you actually rember: https://quizventure.com/harry-potter-spell-quiz/ I think it mainly covers the spells from the book and not from the newer movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
