Now don't get me wrong, in Hogwarts Legacy you break a lot of laws but something small is that at the time of Harry's 3rd year riding a Hippogriff is illegal, so wouldn't be the same in Hogwarts Legacy? Did it become law between the 1890's and 1993, is this information even known, I don't have enough patience to scroll through the Wizarding laws. Please tell me. 🙏🏿

In a wizarding school sometimes students come to harm.
Why is it that consequences for the student and for the concerning teacher are so different?
Example 1:
First Flying lesson with Mme Hooch. Neville is unable to steer his broom, falls off, breaks his arm. Could easily have died. Hospital wing, no prob.
If it was Malfoy Mme Hooch would probably be working in the cleaning sector the day after.
Example 2:
Neville seems to be unable to brew a proper potion while Snape is near. So the Professor actually feeds the potion to Trevor, Neville's pet, in the certainty that Trevor will be poisoned. Would another teacher try anything similar to Malfoy's pet/property they'd find themselves sacked and trialed before they could even say unfair!
Example 3:
Hagrid's first lesson and Malfoy's trick against him. Besides being too uncertain of how to address students like Malfoy Hagrid did an excellent job there. He introduced most interesting creatures, explained about them in a proper safety distance, got one trustworthy student for a first try and go and then helped all students to contact the hippogriffs.
The accident was Malfoy's fault alone. Hagrid had specifically warned about these things could happen and how to avoid this.
Even so - who gets punished? Not the careless, stupid student, because his name is Malfoy!
I am not a Harry Potter fan and I am from HTTYD wiki, but I am here to send something. This is a Hippogriff with a rear of a Hippopotamus, since Hippopotamuses are often called Hippos. Btw, "Hippos" actually mean horse, not Hippopotamus.
