Fenrir: Also the dad pissed me so I have an excuse for biting him.

Greg: He isn’t already one of us?

Fenrir: Nah bro, i’m biting him tonight.

Lyall and Remus arrived at the market about 20 minutes later. Remus looked around at all the stalls and how full they all were whilst Lyall actually went to buy things. He then called Remus over to help decide which vegetables he wanted.

"I don't like vegetables, can we go look at the chicken," Remus moaned.

"No, we have to have some sort of veg for tomorrow, it isn't all going to be meat Remus," Lyall shook his head, "So, which ones?"

Remus looked over them all unenthusiastically before finally picking carrots and brocoli. He then dragged his dad over to the meat stall and took the chicken. But he also wanted the sausages, so he snuck them into the bag and left a couple of pound coins on the counter. Remus could think of one thing, and one thing only: In 6 months he was going to Hogwarts. Lyall told him all about it, every little detail. He had also told him about all the houses and which one he was in. Remus remembered exactly what his dad had said.

***(Flashback)***

"There is Gryffindor, named after Godric Gryffindor. Those are the brave ones. Then there is Ravenclaw, my house, named after Rowena Ravenclaw, they are the smart and creative ones. Then Hufflepuff, Helga Hufflepuff. People think they are pushovers, but they are actually all about kindness and loyalty, and they're passionate about what they believe is right," He remembered his father paused, "Then there is Slytherin. Salazar Slytherin, the bad ones. Cunning, will do anything to get what they want. And I mean anything."

***(End of Flashback)***

They bought their food home and Remus ran up to his room and hung up a calendar with a big circle around the 1st of September. He leaned over to his most prized possession, his new black and white TV. The arial wasn't properly pointed though so he spent ages trying to get it right but when he did, The Beatles Concert Show had ended. In frustration he kicked his bed leg but all that did was give him a bruised toe.

*** (2 weeks later)***

Lyall decided that they should go visit Remus' grandma in hospital so they took a taxi to the hospital. Remus fidgeted when he looked at his grandma as he felt awful because he did not know what happened to her. He saw Hope and ran over to give her a hug because she only came home at night and he had missed her like mad, and he wished more than anything that his grandma was okay. The nurses came in to check on her and when they noticed Remus and all his scars.

"Deary, what on earth happened to you?" One of the nurses said.

"We need to check on, is it your grandma?" Another said. Remus nodded. "We need to check on your grandma, but those scars look awfully bad,"She continued. He looked worried, what was he supposed to say was wrong? A fall maybe? No, theres too many for a fall. He looked up and smiled, "I am fine, just a uhm dog." Technically, he was telling the truth. He saw Lyall wipe his forehead, clearly glad that Remus had come up with a good excuse.

"You look peaky, dear. Why don't we keep you in for tonight, you look positively unwell, hm?" The first nurse asked. Remus shook his head. She had a tendency to call him dear and he could not stay tonight. When she said that he noticed his dad went white. The nurse looked suspicious but dropped it. Maybe she thought there was a family thing tonight. Or he was going to a friends house. Remus kissed his grandma on the cheek and they went home, this time bringing his mother with him.
