Immortality

Could magic be used to achieve eternal youth? The Elixir of Life makes them immortal, but they still get older as is the case with Nicolas Flamel.

All Phoenixes can’t be dead, as they are immortal, so their number should be increased.

Each couple of Acromantulas has so many babies, so their number should increase too.

As we know, Unicorns are fast that even Werewolves can not catch them. So if they can escape from danger easily, their amount should increase.

But if these three creatures are increasing in amount, why are they very RARE? What do you think?

Split "Voldemort" into two parts:

"Volde" and "Mort"

Volde, according to Wikipedia, means cause, rule and harm

Mort is just the short of mortal

So Voldemort wants to cause himself immortal, and to do that he must rule the world and kill (harm) a lot of people.

This all makes sense now!
