If you got the resurrection stone who would you summon back just to say goodbye to or see again I would bring my grandpa, my aunt and some of my old teachers I had in school. I would be so happy if I had them back even if it was just for an hour.

I was just wondering what would happen if Harry wears the Gaunt ring which is a Horcrux and is intended to kill anyone who tries to wear it. But Harry has a part of Voldemort's soul inside him. So will the ring try to kill Harry due to his own soul or not kill him and let him wear it due to Voldemort's soul inside him? My speculation is that it will not kill Harry because both are Horcruxes in slightly different ways of the same person's soul. So technically why should a Horcrux destroy another Horcrux containing a piece of the same soul.

Alright, so you know how Voldemort made Horcruxes? Yes, but how did he make them? Well duh splitting his soul in half. Well, what if I told you some Horcruxes are more powerful than others? Yep, that's right guys gals and nonbinary pals, when Voldemort created the Horcruxes, they got less and less powerful. Let me explain- When he created his first Horcrux while he was tom riddle at age 16, he split his soul in half, 50/50, leaving him with 50% of his soul left. When he made the second Horcrux from Marvolo Gaunt's ring, dividing his soul in half once again this time leaving him with 25% of his soul left, and the other 25% in the ring. When he made the locket into a Horcrux, he once again split his soul in half leaving him with 12.5% of his soul. With Helga Hufflepuff's cup, he split his soul once again, and by that time he was left with 8.75% of his soul. He split his soul in half again when he turned the diadem into a Horcrux leaving him with only 4.375% of his soul left. After that, he was kinda done with Horcruxes by then until he tried to kill Harry, 10 years before the events of the first book, leaving Voldemort with 2.1875% of his soul. And then 13 years later in GoF he split his soul once more as a last attempt to try and save his life before the prophecy was fulfilled, leaving him with a minuscule 1.09375% of his soul left. Therefore, in DH2 Harry had more of Voldemort's soul in him than Voldemort did. And given the fact that in the movie there was a scene where Harry stumbled across a bloody Voldemort fetus, that just shows how small of an amount of his soul was left in Harry. So in conclusion, in DH2 harry was more Voldemort than Voldemort himself.
We have seen the toxic effects of the Curse that Lord Voldemort Slytherin placed on it, and I strongly believe that Harry was only able to wear it due to being a fellow horcrux to the ring. If anyone tracked down the resurrection stone and tried to use it, they would die from the necrotic curse, thus encouraging any future treasure hunters to leave it alone.
Was thinking about this the other day. Dumbledore's arm was cursed by Tom Riddle's ring, but couldn't removing the arm prevent the curse from killing him? I recall Severus saying that the curse was mostly contained to his hand, so I don't understand why removing it was not considered. Honestly, Dumbledore could have done more.

I’ve always been really fascinated with this hallow and remember wanting to own it ever since I read about it. Definitely one of the most interesting prop in the HP universe.
