I like Newt Scamander as a protagonist then Harry Potter.

I heard a theory that Newt gave Hagrid Aragog as a gift.
Aragog said that he was a gift to Hagrid from a traveller.
Newt travels a lot and he visits the school a fair bit to help Dumbledore defeat Grindelwald. Maybe during one of his visits he met a young Hagrid and gave him a little Aragog.
Personally idc about what's going on with Dumbledore and grindelwald and their drama. i just wanted FB to be a series with NEWT as a protagonist and only his story along with his friends and creatures( especially his creatures and tina).
I didn't liked SOD at all because they were totally out of what i expected and wanted. COG was okay but WTFT was still the best. They shouldn't have cancelled the 4th movies. instead should have made it newt's story without dumbledore/ grindelwald crap. and lacking of tina (one of the lead protagonist) was really disappointing.
P.S this fan made photo looks funny!

Newt Scamander's wand materials are never specified, so here's my theory on what it's made from.
Wood: Chesnut.
This is a most curious, multi-faceted wood, which varies greatly in its character depending on the wand core, and takes a great deal of colour from the personality that possesses it. The wand of chestnut is attracted to witches and wizards who are skilled tamers of magical beasts, those who possess great gifts in Herbology, and those who are natural fliers.
Newt was obviously a skilled tamer of beasts and also good at Herbology. As for flying, Newt jokingly mentions in the first movie that he is more of a chaser than a seeker, so perhaps he enjoyed flying.
Core: Phoenix feather. It's unknown how phoenix feathers go with chesnut, but i think this core suits him. They are the rarest core type, and are picky when choosing owners. Someone unusual and unique like Newt is a good fit. Also they are capable of the widest range of magic. I think we see Newt do all sorts of magic, and he's undoubtedly talanted.
Length: 11 inches. Longer wands can indicate a bigger personality, but also a more dramatic style of magic. A wand not too long for Newt is suitable. Also it's the same length as Harry's and they are both protagonists.
Flexibility: Stiff. Newt was socially awkward and different from others. He was better with animals than humans. And he also stuck to his beliefs and did what was right, and was very empathetic, so i think this flexibility will work.

Do you think that Newt and Bunty should have got together?? Now, I haven’t read the books but in the movies, in the third one… [⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️]
At the end, u could see newt and Bunty looking at each other and it kinda gave me the feeling that they should get together.
I already think that Bunty likes Newt, after all she keeps track of the exact amount of days she has worked for him and will do anything she can to help him….
Also, did anyone else relize that in the tags they list Newt as Newton?? 😂😂
I came across the Hogwarts Library series in my school (which is not Hogwarts) library (Korean version). After reading those books, I wanted to read the original text, so I bought the English versions. However, although it's been a while, I seem to recall there being an article about the thunderbird in the Korean version of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, but I see no sign of it in the English version. Does anyone know why?
P.S. How come Newt Scamander never wrote anything about dementors, boggarts, or hinkypunks?

We don't know much about Newt's parents, especially his father.
We know his mother is a witch, and i have a theory, that he is a muggle.
So in FB first movie, he tells Tina how he thinks it's mildly absurd how they can't marry muggles in USA.
Then in Secrets of Dumbledore there is a deleted scene where Newt and Theseus sing their father's old drinking song. It goes like this:
There was an old Muggle, who fell down the well
When along came a witch who did him a spell
When the Muggle awoke he said "Dear woman
do tell,
Is it heaven ľ'm in or have i gone straight to
(hell)"
What if this song is a story about their parents. May seem like a stretch, but the song is pretty neat.
