Okay, this is based off of a essay that I wrote, when we were told to write an opinion essay.
The Pure-Bloods in the wizarding world were intimidated by Hermione Granger for several reasons, primarily rooted in their deep-seated beliefs about blood purity and the superiority of magical lineage. Hermione, despite being a Muggle-born witch with no magical ancestry, consistently outperformed many of her Pure-Blood peers in academic prowess, spellwork, and overall magical competence. Her intelligence, hard work, and dedication challenged the notion that only those born into wizarding families could excel in the magical arts. This shattered the elitist ideology that Pure-Bloods had held onto for centuries, making them feel threatened by the idea that talent and ability were not confined to bloodlines but could be found in anyone, regardless of their heritage.
Hermione is a pureblood! If her parents could see diagon alley (remember how it specifically said muggles can’t see diagon alley?), they must have been squibs, which both of her parents could see diagon alley, but neither of them had magic, and we know Squibs can see magical places (Flitch could see Hogwarts) and if they were muggles, they wouldn’t see diagon alley, so Draco and the others were wrong!
am I late to finding this out? (My dad just explained it to me today)
So i just thought of this question the other day. I was wondering what happens to pure-blood children in the years before they turn 11? Like do they just hang around at home all day and don’t receive an education until they are 11? Is there some sort of preschool? Like imagine being a kid and knowing about magic, but not being able to use it or learn it or anything like that until you are 11. Idk if there is an answer for this but thought i should just ask on here. LMK IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY IDEASSSS
It is stated that a wizard or witch can be considered pure-blood if all four of their grandparents are magical, but how does that work? Is it only for pure-bloods and half-bloods, or does it apply to Muggle-borns too? If they had non-magical ancestors or a great-grandparent and etc., could they still be considered pure-blood?
(no offense to any americans... i just found it funny)
Does their status as pure-bloods apply to every single family member or just most them? There could have been family members who married non-pure-bloods and had half-blood children and etc.
If one parent is a squib and one is a muggleborn, would the child be a halfblood or muggleborn? Also if a muggleborn and a muggle married, would the child be a muggleborn? If a pureblood and a halfblood got together, would the child be a pureblood?
I have two questions:
Is it possible to have a squib be born to pure-blood parents?
If so, if a squib went on to marry a pure-blood witch or wizard, would their child be considered pure-blood still (even with the squib parent)?

I think No because Lavender Brown is not really mean to Half-Blood and Muggle-Borns
Sooo I was watching Chamber of Secrets and I stated to think about Harry and Tom. Tom (and no I'm not gonna use Voldemort because he doesn't deserve that name) So Tom and Harry are distantly related through the Peverell brothers, and I started to remember how all wizarding families are related. So I started to think, what if the reason for Squibs is because wizarding families that are distantly related megered. If you don't know, inbreeding is when one family member and another family member.... mate with eachother and have... children. When there are certain problems in the gene pool they eventually get erased when one person has a baby with another person that's not related. But if that same problem is in the gene pool of a family member things get bad for the baby. Now, if your a wizard/witch youve got magical powers and the abilty to control them (if their not supressed ). Say Someone from from one wizarding family (ima make up a name) say Fridgles and the Nitherins are distantly related but have a child. Both the families are pureblood and have a pureblood daughter..... who is a squib. Squibs might be a result of inbreeding which is why Muggleborn witches and wizards (such as Myrtle or Hermione or that one Hufflepuff dude that Harry told the snake not to attack) exist. This is just a theory and every theory has flaws so if I did do something wrong lets disscuss it. Also 10,000 galleons for the one who gives me enough Muggle money for Hogwarts Legacy >:)))))
So you may know the girl who was sorted before Harry,
If you guessed Sally-Anne Perks, you are correct. But if you guessed the Patil Twins i dont blame you, because this character is FORGETTABLE if you dont know who im talking about we see this girl only in the 1st book, in this quote/unquote : ‘Moon’ … ‘Nott’ … ‘Parkinson’ … then a pair of twin girls, ‘Patil’ and ‘Patil’ … then ‘Perks, Sally-Anne’ … and then, at last – so thats the pnly time we get to see her. In the fifth book she was supposed to appear but she didnt. In the quote/unqoute
Ten minutes later, Professor Flitwick called, "Parkinson, Pansy - Patil, Padma - Patil, Parvati - Potter, Harry." (Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 31) So we dont see her get mentioned. So to me, i think her house was Hufflepuff because i dont think Sally-Anne would be a Gryffindor because she would maybe been noticed by Harry. I dont think she would be Slytherin because ut just doesnt seem right and i think Runcorn can take that place. So what happend to Sally-Anne? Did she just left before 1996 did she get expelled? We have know idea But i will like to see your Sally-Anne Perks theroies. So the case of Sally-Anne Perks the lost Hufflepuff student sorted right after harry is UNKNOWN
So in the Order of the Phoenix Sirius Black says all Pureblood families are related. And the Potter family is pureblood other than Harry, so that would mean a good chunk of people are related, which would ALSO mean that Harry and Ron are related by a extremely small percentage. I’m not done. The Black Family are Purebloods which means he’s also related to his godfather, BUT so are the MALFOYS, which ALSO MEANS: HARRY AND DRACO ARE RELATED.
Yes I know by a extremely small percentage but there still related.
Which also means the Malfoys and the Potters have in fact had gotten along at some point in time to be able to keep the Pureblood line in both families going.
If a child of two pureblood Squibs is a wizard/witch, would they be pureblood, halfblood, or muggleborn? For a fanfic I'm thinking of writing!
So Charity Burbage was the muggle studies professor. But not gonna lie, she was either brave or stupid. Voldemort was in power, and she decided to write an article in a newspaper against pure-bloods. I respect the bravery, but that cost her life.
So, I was browsing the pages, and on both Harry Potter's page and Delphini's page, it calls them half-bloods. For each of them, both parents are magical, though one of each are muggle-born, being Lily and Voldemorr, respectively. I see why they are considered half-blood, but I don't know why they aren't considered pure blood.
And another related question. If two muggle-borns have a child, would it be considered muggle-born, or half-blood? Not pure-blood, because it's even less "pure" then the first case.
Sorry if this rant is confusing
