I tried out the goofy mobile game, and what do I think of it?

Its..

Bad but not hot garbage.

In gameplay that is, the story seems ok enough, I’m not very good at criticism and seeing what a good character actually is, Rowan is a cinnamon bun and the artwork of some of the characters that I’ve seen is pretty cute.

Lemme get onto the gameplay tho:

THE ENERGY SYSTEM

GOD DO I HATE IT.

Energy depletes too quickly in lessons and you need to wait five million years til it’s fully recharged, personally due to that, I think energy rewards are more important then everything except (attributes?), which are important for what is basically a dating sim-like feature (or I guess platonic-simulator since I haven’t found a date yet :cri:)

Story seems okay, I personally like games with story features since it reminds me of the good old 2019 days of digimon rearise (that game was amazing to me), but honestly it’s the energy that makes me wanna commit die

Overall, 6/10 for the story, 3/10 for gameplay.

I’m playing Hogwarts: A Mystery and I am up to Year 2, Chapter 6, Part 5 (I think) and I burst out laughing when Rowan was said something like “Did he mention anything about me?” And our character replies with “I don’t think he knows who you are.”

I’m Sorry Rowan but its kind of late right now and things just seem a lot funnier at night times.
