Okay, so I’ve seen a lot of crazy HL fans on here.. and if anyone saw the way I acted when I first became a crazed Bellatrix simp, then you’d know I’m not being all weird or that I don’t like selfshipping. It’s fine obvs.. I LOVE Drosmic and Bellaray is still iconic to me (my entire user page is a fictionalized version of myself I had get married to Bellatrix Lestrange in a McDonald’s parking lot okay??) but I just have a question
What is it with the Sebastian obsession? I’ve looked him up, and he seems like a pretty chill, normal guy (and a great villain, one of the ones with a pretty good motive) but he doesn’t strike me as particularly cute or anything (yeah he has a good character and good reasons for doing what he’s done, but that’s how I feel about MOST villains lmao), but that’s just my opinion. Why are people so obsessive over Sebastian? Please I would like to be enlightened

Played more Hogwarts Legacy last night, so here is Part 7.
I'm honestly kind of surprised I've gotten this far into the game, and even then it is not that far into it.
Slytherin - Part 7
So starting where I left off with the Ancient Defenders (living suits of armors) that I attempted to defeat before getting off the game for the night, it took me two more tries before I succeeded in defeating them.
When I did, I went into the portal that appeared. I really love the portals in this game because of the liquid-like texture of them, you know what I mean? It just looks so cool to me.
So my character Ryder O'Connell kept walking forward until he stopped in some cavern that had begun to actually flood and I'm not kidding when I say that when Ryder said this aloud, he sounded sooo unconcerned!
"Oh no, the cavern is flooding and I could drown! Oh well, what fun!" is how Ryder sounded to me.
Everything was fine anyways though since some magic protected me until I could enter the Map Room and have a nice chat with the portrait version of Prof. Rackham. Nothing too interesting happened until I learned that the Map Room literally connects to Hogwarts, which angers me given what I had to go through in the Forbidden Forest to get there.
I COULDA JUST WENT DOWNSTAIRS IN THE SCHOOL THIS WHOLE TIME BUT NO---RICHARD JACKDAW JUST HAD TO LEAD ME DOWN THE HARD AND WAY LESS CONVENIENT PATH!!!!!!!!!!
*Deep sigh* Okay, so I went to my first Flying Class where that honestly really annoying Ravenclaw student (I forget his name) forced me into going on a flying tour with him even though I was like "No, we will get in trouble".
Well at least the teacher, Prof. Kogawa, complimented Ryder on his BROOM SKILLS. 🧹✨
Okay, well after that though I had spent Talent Points before deciding to go do a Task Assignment that Prof. Sharpe had given. But when I saw what I would need to do, I got lazy and decided that I wasn't going to go hunt for all those potions. So instead I had decided to go see Sebastian Sallow by the DADA classroom as he had said to do.
So I went, and he showed me where all the COOL KIDS hang out: the Undercroft. 🎸
You know it's where the COOL KIDS hang out because he taught me the apparently illegal spell, Confringo, there.
When he had eventually asked Ryder about the whole library thing, I decided that Sebastian is definitely one person in that school that he would trust besides Prof. Fig and Ominis Gaunt, so I picked the 'Tell the Truth' option. After giving dear ol' Sebby a brief education on Ancient Magic, I had to leave the Undercroft.
But who do I run into other than my other fav HL character: Ominis.
OMG though, he was so unnecessarily aggressive with me though, and I know he is only a video game character but I was honestly hurt. 😭😭😭
After being told off by him, I went off to go find the Room of Requirement because Prof. Weasley had sent me a letter at the same time as Sebastian earlier. On the way there, I came across the weirdest thing ever (it was funny though, okay?). Peeves was circling these three students, and one of them was trying to tell the other two a story (the others were sitting down like it was story-time in kindergarten) and Peeves was continuously interrupting with rude comments. Anyone else come across this?
So finally reaching the corridor, I met up with Prof. Weasley and we went in just for there to be a bunch of chairs in the way. So she had taught Ryder the spell Evaneso so that the chairs could be vanished. Then we just happened to come across her old school bag and so of course Prof. Weasley wanted to stay behind and go down memory lane.
After wandering around and looting the few chests I came across, I finally found Deek the house elf, who is only slightly less annoying than Scrope from before. So there is some talking, some decoration-based spell learning, and some decorating time before I finished decorating the Room of Requirement to how I wanted it for the time being. I got a picture of it as well for you all. Here is the picture I took:
Like my last picture I've shared, it is not the best quality but that doesn't really matter.
Anyways, I got off the game after decorating the RoR.

I actually played a bit a couple days before but am just now posting.
Same goes for Part Four so yeah.
Slytherin - Part 3:
Had my character/avatar Ryder O'Connell do the whole library quest with Sebastian Sallow and I played the cowards card a lot tbh when fighting the knights. I just kept backing up and pressing Protego.
After that whole quest I decided to abandon the entire game timeline for a while and went to Hogsmeade to update my character's look. Bought a blue old-fashioned suit of sorts after wandering all over the town for money and before that I got him a large over the eye scar because in my head he got that fighting the knights earlier in the library quest (I died a lot back there, okay?😭).
After all that, I decided that I wanted to go find a place that Ryder can go to when I rage quit at a hard part.
I had gone north, so far in fact that I had to keep playing the cowards card once again since I had traveled so far that I was now being where (despite only being Level 6) the level 10+ enemies were.

Well I'm back from playing more of Hogwarts Legacy literally just now.
Slytherin - Part 2:
Did Prof. Ronen's assignment and all of the Hogsmeade bit, then I hopped off the game. But like...why do I have to go do tasks? In a video game standpoint, I understand. But in a story standpoint, doesn't Prof. Ronen got a lot to do with being a teacher at Hogwarts and all? So why is he making Ryder do all this extra work when he can just quickly be like, "Oh this is the wand movement so uh just try that".
This time I got a picture for you all...its not great quality by any means but here it is:
As you can see, I am using a Nintendo Switch, and Ryder was in Ollivander's when I took the picture.
Anyways, my character, Ryder O'Connell the half-blood (pretending to be pure- blood), has his wand now. Waited to get that last because obviously the wand is the best part always. So his wand is a: Blackthorn, Twelve 1/4, Slightly Yielding, Dragon Heart-string.
Made the wand all dark and evil looking because one day I see Ryder as a dark wizard. 😈
Took me three tries to beat the troll in the Hogsmeade square, I was getting so tired of my character just getting trapped in a corner when he could easily just get out anyways.
I swear that I saw Sebastian apparate at least twice while in Hogsmeade, and just...isn't he too young to be allowed to apparate??
Seb's like 15, right?
I was literally like "WHAAAA----?!". 😲
Oh well.
And of course there is the Sirona Ryan bit and all I have to say is that the only reason Rookwood just went and left it because this a fictional video game story. If this was realistic, he would've went all "AVADA KEDAVRA!" and apparated out of there.

Got to play some Hogwarts Legacy again finally.
Did a new game because its a different device.
I plan to do the whole game four times (overtime obviously) with each one as a different house.
I'm gonna give game updates because why not, I'm bored.
Now starting with my own house, SLYTHERIN!
Slytherin - Part 1:
I decided to do the game a little differently and so I made a guy character instead of a girl (I had made a girl character before so yeah).
I have no picture available to share, but I named him Ryder O'Connell.
In my head, I was thinking he's a half-blood Slytherin who pretends as though he is pure-blood.
Unlike Hogwarts Mystery, family wise the main character in Hogwarts Legacy doesn't really have much (if any that I recall) lore family member wise and all so I was like "I can make him whatever blood status I want".
In Vault 12 when you got to fight the knights, I usually rage-quit and get somebody else to do it for me because its so hard for me normally but this time I beat them just fine the second try.
Now here is something funny (to me at least)...I never realized that I gave Ryder red hair until he was standing right next to Prof. Weasley....so um yeah....
I actually can't believe how far I got in the game in just a couple hours. I went from right at the very beginning all the way to right before going off to start Prof. Ronen's first out of class assignment.
Something that I found funny but frustrating is that while I used Levioso just fine against Sebastian Sallow in DADA class, two minutes later at the Duelling Club I completely forgot how to use it and so I just kept using Protego over and over while waiting for Sebastian to use Levioso on the opposite team for me.
Favorite characters are still Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt FOR SURE. Forget any other student you could hang out with in the game, I only want to do the side quests with them (obviously I won't actually, but still).
Being the proud Slytherin that he is, I made Ryder into quite the little liar. Lying to Prof. Weasley every two seconds, also made him rather smug or conceited, since every time he talks to another student (like Sebastian or Natsai Onai) he is just like "Yeah, I handled that so well, total expert I am, because I got SKILLS".
Now that I think of it, Ryder O'Connell is a lot like young Coriolanus Snow from the Hunger Games prequel story for anyone who has read the Hunger Games prequel book (or watched the movie for that matter).
Back on topic though, me and my character have got a lot to look forward to with a visit to Hogsmeade with Sebastian later in the game after Prof. Ronen's assignment.
Will play again and soon and share with you all because as I said, I'm bored.
