Second Wizarding War

Did you notice this? Harry's three kids (James II, Albus, and Lily II) are the first generation of Potters to have lived in peace and not get involved in wars unlike the previous generations of Potters:

• Their parents (Harry and Ginny) were born during the last years of the first wizarding war and they both played an active part in the second wizarding war as members of the Order of the Phoenix and Dumbledore's Army.

• Their paternal grandparents (James and Lily) were heavily involved and active during the first wizarding war as members of the Original Order of the Phoenix.

• Their paternal great-grandparents were either heavily involved in the Global Wizarding War against Grindelwald (James's parents) or were WW2 veterans (Lily's parents).

• Their paternal great-great-grandfather (James's grandfather) tried to convince the ministry of magic to use magic to help muggles fighting in WW1 and publicly condemned the minister of magic for refusing to do so (and thereby leading the Potter family to be banished from the Sacred 28).

Please tell me what you think of this!

Normally we would root for the heroes (Order of the Phoenix) and condemn the villains (Death Eaters), but on this rare occasion I want to do just the opposite.

Before we start and to make this fair, the leaders and founders of both organizations (Voldemort and Dumbledore) and anyone who was a member of both organizations (Snape and Peter) are excluded from nominations.

Finally, if I was to choose the best Death Eater and the worst member of the Order of the Phoenix, it would be based on their roles, level of performance, level of dedication and beliefs in the causes of their organization, and level of participation in the organization that they were in.

Here are mine:

• Best Death Eater: Bellatrix Lestrange

• Worst Order of the Phoenix member: Mundungus Fletcher

1. Lord Voldemort had ALL of his Horcruxes in tact (he WORE the Gaunt family Ring, Salazar Slytherin’s locket, and the Lost Diadem of Rowena Ravenclaw) and ended Harry Potter for good during the Final Battle of Hogwarts, conquered the entire Wizarding world, mastered the Elder Wand, and became permanent Minister for Magic.

2. Voldemort’s daughter Delphini was made permanent Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, with Bellatrix Lestrange as the Deputy Head.

3. 2nd Darkest wizard of all time Gellert Grindelwald—NOT murdered by Voldemort, was appointed permanent Headmaster of Hogwarts, with Dolores Umbridge as the Deputy Headmistress (Minerva McGonagall was also defeated during the Second Wizarding War).

If I could change only 1 thing about the Harry Potter series, it would be that Harry's aunt Petunia was a magical witch and not a Muggle, who’d willingly take in Harry after Lord Voldemort murdered both his parents Lily and James Potter. Harry would at last have a loving family member he always deserved; Petunia would actually care for him exceptionally well and treat him as if he were her own birth child! Harry would at least have a mother figure should Sirius Black still be killed by Bellatrix Lestrange, thus leaving Harry without a father figure.

Also, MY story about Petunia is that she attended Hogwarts and would be sorted into Ravenclaw House and would be even more academically-talented than her sister Lily Potter, especially in Potions, but she would be very rule-abiding. For example, she also sends Harry a Howler regarding the theft of the Flying Ford Anglia, as Molly Weasley sent one to Ron. After her final year at Hogwarts, she lives a Muggle life still at 4 Privet Drive (but without Vernon Dursley since she would never have even met him, just her and Harry alone) as a best-selling author who writes stories to inspire future generations. She still fakes the story of his parents' death of them "dying in a car crash" and hides the truth that he Harry is indeed a wizard, until he receives the Hogwarts acceptance letter—but only to SPARE him a painful memory of his parents' murder. Petunia would also have fought in the Battle at the Department of Mysteries at the Ministry of Magic alongside the Order of the Phoenix members and the Battle of Hogwarts during the Second Wizarding War, constantly casting Shield Charms between the good and evil, and survive.

I know Harry had all that protection on his home at the Dursleys when Voldemort returned, but did Hermione have protection on her own home? And if not, why didn't Voldemort come after her. I think it would of been smarter for him to go after the person who is the main reason he survived as far as he did before and after Voldemort came back. I just wonder.

While we definitely know a lot about the reconstituted Order in the Second Wizarding War, little is known about the original Order during the First Wizarding War. I wanna hear your headcanons on Dumbledore or any of the original Order members such as Dorcas Meadows, Moody, Sirius, Remus, the Potters, the Longbottoms, the Prewetts, the McKinnon's, you name it!

Although JK Rowling didn't like to kill off some of these characters (in fact she even broke down while writing some of their deaths), she did it in order to show their meanings:

• James and Lily Potter: To establish a storyline and to show orphans of war.

• Cedric Diggory: To show Voldemort's mercilessness.

• Sirius Black III: To show Harry's lack of guidance/parental figures.

• Albus Dumbledore: To show the death of a great leader cannot stop a war.

• Hedwig: To show the end of Harry's childhood.

• Mad Eye: To show the death of a soldier.

• Dobby: To show even the smallest of creatures can die a hero's death.

• Fred Weasley I: To show that some deaths you just can't get over. And that's okay.

• Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks: To reestablish orphans of war.

• Colin Creevey: To show that the good die young, even when they aren't supposed to.

• Severus Snape: To show that you can always change your ways. Always.

Why didn’t the death eater just use it all the time and when it hit someone they died of course. So why did they lose the battle apart from the a lot of the death eaters fleeing.
