We all know Dumbledore was a brilliant strategist, but what if his foresight wasn’t just wisdom, but time travel? Let me walk u through this theory:

1. The Invisibility Cloak

Dumbledore asked James Potter for the cloak days before his death. Coincidence? Or did Dumbledore know James was about to be killed and wanted to ensure the cloak’s safety so it could eventually help Harry? Without the cloak, Harry wouldn't have completed so many critical tasks.

2. Draco Malfoy’s Mission

How did Dumbledore know Voldemort would specifically choose Draco to assassinate him? Why not someone closer, like Snape? It’s almost as if Dumbledore knew the exact players in Voldemort’s plan, down to the role they’d play. Could he have seen this happening through a time-turner?

3. Harry’s Importance

From the beginning, Dumbledore knew exactly where Harry was and how essential he’d be in defeating Voldemort. His actions always ensured Harry was prepared, like leaving him the sword of Gryffindor and guiding him toward the Horcruxes. Time travel could explain how he seemed to know what Harry would need before Harry did.

4. The Portrait’s Instructions

Even after his death, Dumbledore’s portrait gave Snape detailed instructions that were vital to Voldemort’s defeat. How could the portrait know so much unless Dumbledore had already seen these events play out?

This theory makes Dumbledore’s character even more fascinating. If he used a time-turner, it would explain his meticulous planning and why he seemed so resigned to his own death—it was the only way Voldemort could truly be defeated.

What do u think? Is this possible, or is it just another layer of his genius?

For example, here’s what I’d do:

1: go back in time to tell 8 year old me to not make that poison. It’s not worth it.

2: open the door before I ran into it today

3: go back to when I’m busy and just sleep.

I think they found a perfect actress to play the younger Minerva McGonagall. Maggie Smith and Fiona Glascott look alike. What do you think?

Do you agree with this theory?: Minerva McGonagall in the Fantastic Beasts movie is not supposed to be in the movie, as she was not even born yet. But here she is, played by Fiona Glascott. I meant it can't be some other woman with the same name and last name, same accent, and mannerisms. Or maybe it is just a mistake by the director and writers. I DO NOT BELIEVE IT!!! J.K. Rowling herself wrote the screenplay herself and I don't believe she did this accidentally huge retcon anachronistic mistake.

The theory is Minerva used Time Turner to go back in time. I think that Minerva traveled back in time in 1957, the same year she started working at Hogwarts under Albus Dumbledor. I mean she was heartbroken because the man she loved (he was a muggle) fell in love with another woman. Albus told Minerva to use Time Turner and go back in time to aid younger Albus in fighting Gellert Grindelwald. She did it and went back in time.

She of course will have to avoid her younger self when she is born. It is also said that before Minerva started working at Hogwarts she worked at Ministry of Magic. She met a man, named Elphinstone Urquart, and they grew fond of each other. The problem was he was much older than her. He proposed several times to her and every time she rejected the proposal.

She, while being in the past, lived her live and grew older and wiser. By the time, she reached her present day. The day she left into the past. She finally accepted the proposal and married the guy. On paper he will be much older than Minerva but in truth due to time travel, Minerva will be much closer to his age.

....Could've Hermione used the time turner to go back in time and stop Tom Riddle? (i don't know how far in time a time turner can go but if it could've gone 50 years back in time than....)

What would happen if you used a True Time-Turner to stop his mother, Merope from dying and leaving Tom Riddle to be an orphan or preventing from being born? Would it actually stop the wars and save the lives of everyone who was killed like James and Lily Potter, or would it cause a number of people from being born or a new threat to take Voldemort's place? Which would you choose, keep Tom from going down the path he did and become Lord Voldemort or kill someone like his parent(s) or baby Tom to keep him from being born or growing up.

What's your idea of how a Time- Turner works? An in-universe explanation would be highly appreciated.

so I was in the city today and I decided to check out the hp stuff at Claires. they had a time turner necklace and naturally I bought it. but the thing is I was wearing a pink hoodie with it and I have bushy brown hair (a lot darker but still) and my personality is that "smart kid" kinda thing sometimes. OK, here me out....Ariana had a time turner and right at the moment when she was said to die, she time traveled and went to live with the grangers. She never told anyone, not even her close friends. Does it make sense?

Dark Witch Fanfiction Chapter 1: Delphi's Horcrux

Scene 1: In Azkaban -

Delphi: Yes! No aurors here . . .

(Slips out of her cell)

Delphi: I've escaped. My plan to bing the Dark Lord failed, but I am the new Dark Lord, and will be feared and known as the Dark Witch!

Scene 2: Delphi's Hideout

Description: Loyal Death Eaters from Voldemort, hiding in the underground room, ready to pledge their allegiance to the Dark Witch. These Death Eaters have escaped Azkaban or have avoided inprisonment. The death Eaters include the Rowles, Rodolphus Lestrange and Lucius Malfoy.

Delphi: So now that we know that the Dark Lord is not going to return, we will call him by name. Voldemort.

Lucius Malfoy: What are we doing now, My Lady?

Delphi: You can go. I want to do something.

(Death Eaters grumbling and going out the trapdoor.)

Delphi: (Smiling to herself as the room is fully empty.) Let's see . . . where are you, my time turners? (Taking out a box fille with time turners)

(Takes out one)

Delphi: *chanting*

Estingushed soul's essence risen,

Final breathh from murdered host,

Enter now, this, your prison,

Slave to my fragmented ghost

If I shall die before I take,

This course of my intent design,

Then from this prison reawake,

Immortal now . . . my dread bloodline!

Scene 3: Auror office, with Harry Potter

Harry: (Speaking in telephone) Yes, precautions mu-

(Cut off by Hermione Granger as she walks into the room)

Hermione: Harry! I need to talk to you!

Harry: (Exasperated) Can it wait until later?

Hermione: No. Delphi is not in Azkaban!

Harry: Wait a moment. (Talks into the telephone) I'll call later. Bye. (To Hermione) So what were you saying?

Hermione: Delphi's gone from Azkaban. She's missing!

I just rewatched prisoner of Azkaban and now I’m confused.

So we see Harry and hermione save buckbeak and Sirius, but they had to dodge their old selves cause they time traveled. So would those old harries and hermione go on to time travel, and play out what happened on screen? Would this infinite loop of harries and hermiones go on through the movie storyline? With this logic, are there not infinate timelines or Harry Potter, all a little bit behind the last?
