I just learnt why Bill and Fleur named their daughter Victoire I can't believe I didn't know that before ahhhh

Yup! Along with The Battle of Hogwarts, another important event happened on this day!

May 2nd is Victoire Weasley's (surname now being Lupin) Birthday!

Victoire Weasley is the eldest child of Bill Weasley and Fleur Delacour! After he times at Hogwarts, (She was a Ravenclaw for those who don't know) she ended up marrying Teddy Lupin! This character now is a mother of her two daughters, Ashlynn Lupin and Jocelynn Lupin!

Let's all wish Victoire a great happy birthday! 🎂

Here are mine:

James Potter II and Fred Weasley II: James Sirius Potter, Fred George Weasley, and a third friend (to keep James and Fred in check) are the next generation of Gryffindor pranksters and troublemakers who are in the same year together, thereby being successors to the Marauders and the Weasley Twins and continuing their legacy. This also means that James II and Fred II live up to their namesakes pretty well.

Ted Lupin and Victoire Weasley: I'd like to think that Teddy went on to become an Auror like his godfather and late mother, and Victoire went on to become a curse-breaker like her father. The two eventually get married and have three kids together: Remus Edward Lupin, John Arthur Lupin, and Nymphadora Victoire Lupin. These three children inherit both the metamorphagus ability from their father and the veela charm from their mother.

Albus, Scorpius, and Rose: Forget about what the Cursed Child says, these three become the next golden trio. It is also the first friendship group between people from different Hogwarts houses. Scorpius and Rose eventually fall in love and get married (with Albus acting as Scorpius's best-man and becoming the godfather to Rose and Scorpius's first child).

Lily Luna Potter and Hugo Granger-Weasley: I wish we saw more of their freindship. We could also add a third friend (possibly a girl) in this group.

Alright, so a fair amount of us read fanfiction, right? Right. So the main three sites people use, or at least that I've heard of, are AO3, Wattpad, and Fanfiction.net.

So I decided to finally look at AO3, and me being the very dumb person I am, I google AO3 and I get results for Archive of Our Own.

I didn't realize that they are the EXACT. SAME. THING. I feel like a total idiot.

Also, if you have any good Tedoire fic recommendations, please let me know.

Victoire Weasley was born on May 2nd. May 2nd is also the day that the Wizarding War took place. She was named Victoire which means victory in French because she was born on the day they won the war. May 2nd is also the day that Fred Weasley died, her uncle. Nyphadora Tonks and Remus Lupin also died, Teddy Lupin’s parents, Victoire’s boyfriend. Do you think that the Weasley family celebrates her birthday or honor the deaths.

But still don't forget that this also was the day you-know-who got defeated! and that terrible war ended, so yeah.

Also, I'm not sure what category to put this on, so I'm gonna put it on spoilers for now...

Oh and I just figured out that Victoire Weasley was born on may 2nd and was named because of the victory of the order on voldy.

This is really bad lol, This won't have multiple parts, I just wanted to write this out.

Victoire Weasley was sitting in the library reading, it was only her second week at Hogwarts and she had already had loads of older boys flirting with her, one of the bad things about being part Veela. She hadn't made any friends, so the only people she had to hang out with were her cousins, who were all off playing Quidditch, and she didn't know how to play. After a while, she heard the voice of an boy who seemed to be standing in front of her,

"Hi", he said. He was probably about third year, and she didn't recognize his voice, so she assumed he just wanted to flirt with her. "Hello", she replied without looking up. The boy said, "I just wanted to say that I like your bag, it's really cool."

She smiled and looked up at him, he had bright turquoise hair, and he was in Hufflepuff. He seemed friendly enough, so she said "Thanks, what's your name?" "Teddy Lupin, what's yours?" "Victoire Weasley." He sat down next to her, and they talked for a while, until they realized they were both late for their next class. They both walked off, happy that they had made a friend.

So, whenever Teddy Lupin's emotions change, so would his hair. If he's angry, his hair would turn red. If he's happy, it'd turn a gold or yellow. He'd change it back to whatever he wants after he realizes, but it would be just a thing that happens naturally. I also like to think that Victoire found out Teddy liked her when his hair would turn pink whenever they looked at each other. This also made it easy for Andromeda to understand Teddy better.

Today's Character: Fleur Delacour

Here's Mine: I don't mind her. I mean she is okay, but she is just kinda annoying. And a bit mean honestly. I said a little while ago that she is my leeway favourite good guy, and I stand by that.

Fun Fact: Bill and Fleur's oldest daughter was named Victorie because she was born on the second Anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts.

The Victoire theory is that one night, a drunk Fleur bet a slightly-less-drunk Viktor that she could catch the Snitch before him. And if she didn't, she would name her first-born child after Viktor.

So, obviously she lost. She named Victoire after Viktor, but gave her a C instead of a K, just to annoy him.
