I just had a crazy thought.. what if Harry's wand choosing him was because Voldemort's soul was living within Harry? I don't know if anyone has ever thought of this but what are the actual chances that the only 2 wands which the Phoenix gave ended up with Voldemort and Harry?
What's in Newt's wand? The core, I mean.
I wondered if it was Swooping Evil venom because it has a cap on it but I've seen someone take it even further and say that it's the Swooping Evil itself
Give me your weirdest ideas! I like weird ideas :P
They both
Outside made of wood
Inside made of "hair" and "feather"
Some about a foot long
Talented people wield it
Some colorful stuff come out of it if you wave it dramatically (Spells and paint)
Saw this theory on YouTube yesterday, it's pretty mind-blowing.
So, in the secrets of Dumbledore, when Grindelwald and Dumbledore's spell connected, just like Harry's and Voldemort's in the Goblet of fire. Harry and Voldemort's wand have twin core wands from the same phoenix, Fawkes. So that means Dumbledore's first wand have the same wand core as Grindelwald's wand back then, which is the elder wand. We know the elder wand have a core made out of thestral hair, so Dumbledore's first wand also have a thestral hair core.
Does that sound right? Please tell in the comment.
Whats your wand ?
Simple enough
Mine is Black walnut wood, phoenix feather core, 12 ¼" and hard flexibility
Heyy! Have you guys bought a Harry Potter wand in real life? If so, whose wand was it?
I got Fleur Delacour’s. It’s beautiful, in my opinion. Mine was ordered a couple days ago, but it will arrive before my birthday.
Elder Wood and Phoenix Feather, if they were to find themselves in a wand, how loyal would it be? We know that this wand will easily grasp powerful magic, since both the wood and core excel at it, but what are your theories about this combination. My particular theory is that it would take longer than other wands with that core to gain the loyalty of, and during that time period, it would switch to people that beat the chosen master, but after it’s allied itself, this wand will be a force to be reckoned with.
So I want to gift a wand to my brother he wand is Black walnut wood with a phoenix feather core, 11" and hard flexibility does any harry potter charter own a wand like this because I want to gift him a wand that chose him?
So I went back to ollivanders and I got chosen to get a wand! 15” Holly and Phoenix Feathers!!
Guys! I got my interactive non character custom wand and they chose based off my birthday and I got an Elder Wood!
What qualifies a wand as a wand and not just a stick? i used to think it was the core, until i read book 4 and realized that phoenix tail feather, unicorn hair, and dragon heartstring weren't the only cores there are, fleur's wand's core is veela hair. can you basically use and substance as a core? What makes a wand a wand?
