I am solidly a Hufflepuff with strong Ravenclaw tendencies. In universe, we see this quite a bit (which I think adds credence to the writing). For example, Hermione is a Gryffindor with strong Ravenclaw tendencies. Neville is a Gryffindor with strong Hufflepuff tendencies. Luna is a Ravenclaw with strong Hufflepuff tendencies.
The thing about this is Voldemort would never do something like this. It's completely against his personality. As Dumbledore told Harry, Voldemort's horcruxes would have to be objects that represented great power and have large significance in proving his power. He's too megalomaniacal to use items that don't reinforce his status, like the diary, which proved he was the Heir of Slytherin.
