So in the Prisoner of Azkaban everyone is convinced that Sirius Black is the former right hand of Voldemort and I'm wondering where they got that idea from. The crimes he was charged with were spying, betraying the Potters, and mass murder but none of those really strike as right hand. Why did they think he was the right hand and not other more notable Death Eaters such as Bellatrix Lestrange his older cousin noted for her power, cruelty, fanatical loyalty to Voldemort.

So I realized Hermione make a real mistake with trying to use hats to trick House Elves into freedom. Not only did they not take the hats but they wouldn't have worked anyways. It's stated a House Elf is only free when their master presents them with clothes. Not just any Witch or Wizard, that's why Harry tricked Lucius into giving Dobby the sock instead of simply giving it to Dobby himself. So her doing that would have changed nothing. The only ones that could have freed the House Elves of Hogwarts were the ones who controlled Hogwarts (so I think the Board of Governors)

See I never liked the timeline in the Cursed Child where Voldemort won, and not just because the Death Eaters won in that timeline. No the reason I don't like is because that timeline could not exist, and not because of the insult to Cedric's character, though I will mention that.

First the basis of Voldemort winning is because Death Eater Cedric killed Neville so Neville didn't kill Nagini and Voldemort won. Except that would not have happened if nevill had been killed. One, because there were plenty of other wizards and witches that could have stepped in and killed a snake with a sword, it was important for his character but it wasn't like he was the only one able to kill a snake with a magic sword.

Second, Harry Potter's protection made it impossible for Voldemort to hurt anyone there and Voldemort's forces were losing near the end, Bellatrix was dead, Dolohov was defeated, Rockwood was beaten, so was Macnair and the Lestrange brothers. So had Death Eater Cedric killed Neville it's not like the Dark Lord could have beaten Shacklebolt, McGonical, Flitwick, Molly, and several other powerful wizards.

Thirdly, Harry was the master of the Elder Wand so Voldemort couldn't kill him with that, even if for some reason they could kill Nagini the killing curse would have still rebounded on Voldemort from the Elder Wand and he would have been reduced to the same state he had been in Book 1, except even weaker with all those Horcruxs destroyed.

Fourth on Death Eater Cedric I think it is an insult to his character to think he would turn Death Eater because of some schoolyard embarrassment, Harry himself says how great a wizard Cedric was. If that actually happens he probably would have just laughed it off as something weird and embarrassing.

So I'm wondering exactly how much these broomsticks would have cost. Harry said it wasn't worth emptying his vault for a Firebolt but that was obviously a hyperbole since Molly was able to puchase a Cleansweep 11, a rather good broom from the description. So I was wondering what are the general estimates of these brooms.

My guesses are

Nimbus 2000: 150 Galleons (roughly 750 pounds)

Nimbus 2001: 180 Galleons (roughly 900 pounds)

Firebolt: 300 Galleons (roughly 1500 pounds)

All really expensive but not debilitating for someone with thousands of Galleons in the bank. Think these are accurate prices or are they too high or too low? Leave your own estimates below if you want.

So according to the information the act of killing a Unicorn and drinking it's blood causes one to live a cursed life. That makes me wonder though if it is possible to gain the benefits of Unicorn Blood without the negatives. Say someone found a recently killed Unicorn but was not the slayer, or if they didn't say but wounded the Unicorn, or just took a vile without harming in a way similar to blood donation.

In these cases one did not kill the Unicorn so do you think the blood would not curse them?

I can't remember if this was ever addressed but could Muggle parents enter Platform 9 3/4? I image it repels Muggles so does that mean the parents of Muggle Borns can't enter and help their children load their trunks on the train, or ensure their children are safe?

A little funny theory I was thinking about, Voldemort hates Quidditch. See his Death Eaters choose the World Cup to make a showing, yeah it was not with his orders but they chose the World Cup of all places. Then when he started taking control he ordered the next World Cup cancelled with death-threats if they did not comply. Also in The Philosopher's Stone he chooses to try and kill Harry during a Quidditch match, it might have been a good chance, but he choose then to do it. Finally he invented unaided flight so he never needed to use a broomstick. Just makes me wonder if he had something against broomsticks, maybe it was the one thing he wasn't a star at.
